1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Native render resolution scale (super-/downsampling) slider in the graphics options

Touched on the subject in another thread so I thought I should post a suggestion here.

I'm proposing a native implementation of a render resolution scale slider in the graphics options, like Battlefield 4 for example has. This allows to render the image at x% (smaller and larger than 100%) of the native screen resolution, for example to render the image in 3840x2160px on a screen with native 1920x1080px resolution to enjoy supersampling, or at smaller than native resolution to improve framerates, without affecting the HUD and menus and without changing the monitor resolution.

Using driver tools like Nvidia DSR for supersampling/downsampling leads to issues with display scaling and other applications.

    Thanks.

No its better to let players do it via DSR or VSR as they have set presets with a bit of smoothing and advanced stuff to help a little with warping which seems to happen for some people. While it would be nice it would just make more sense and it would look better for people to use DSR/VSR.

I guess it will make it easier for some of the newer people to mess with it though so it would be nice for those that will use it. Its likely more useful for those that want to keep the elements at 1080p but render it at 720 or lower due to performance issues. if you have due screens then you dont want the low resolution to move things from the second screen

Then someone at Kunos or Nvidia should work on improving the experience with DSR. It leads to major issues in Windows itself, which isn't the case with other games to my experience.

Good for you. What's the problem with a resolution scale setting again?

ALT+TAB kills DSR in AC, please fix it Kunos.
In DSR mode, (for resolutions above 1920*1080 single screen), with the track loaded, when changing program via ALT+Tab and then returning to AC the resolution gets changed like it is a zoomed in 1080p, some buttons like the exit go outside the screen and are not accessible, the only way out is ALT+F4.

Or just press Alt+Enter to go back into Fullscreen mode? Works for me at least. Been using DRS with an AMD card for ages now.
