1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory.
  2. FOR ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE: If you report issues with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder!
  3. If your game executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, then run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether.

WOW,... 1st time I've seen anything like that from Nvidia for Assetto Corsa.

Wonder if that driver will also add performance gains ?

I'll let you guys test it first though,... :)

I tested & rolled back between driver 430.86 & 419.35 and for me there was no difference in performance between the two drivers and the UI menu is still under high GPU load. I did two 0f my standard tests. Test 1 was a SP practice session at the Nurburgring and Test 2 was a 21 AI race with all opponents set to visible which was also at the Nurburgring in sunny morning conditions. Unfortunately I am still receiving unnecessary dynamic GPU throttling on Test 2 even as my CPU cores/threads are not under full load. I found no issues with the new driver so I will roll with that for now.

V1 uses a newer build of the game engine, it may also run dx12 possibly as this is what is needed for RTX support but it may not make the first build possibly. Its likely had some adjustments made to better support the newer UE build used in ACC 1.0.

I honestly never really found any major changes in driver builds beyond some that fixed issues in some games and with SLI compatibility but ACC has not supported this to date and Nvidia has mostly abandoned multi gpu support even if they made NV-Link to hook up 2x 2080ti cards then for people to find it still needs SLI support to work and this is a very low priority for game devs and clearly Nvidia driver teams.

The new driver upgrade is worth it to me for one reason alone - Nvidia's Freestyle inbuilt post processing app. I can do my own color correction to the game now without using reshade or ingame PP. I always run with ingame PP on min anyway but removing my reshade profile alone gained me atleast 10 fps LOL. Looking forward to what further improvements 1.0 brings.

I wonder if Kunos can comment on whether these drivers are a necessary/advisable upgrade prior to v1.0? What drivers has v1.0 been tested with?
