1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

New players needs advice

    Hello guys,
    I'm thinking about joing AC with my son, coming from iRacing and have some questions:

    1° Can I create a LAN server so I can play with my kid and a few AI cars?

    2° What do I need to buy to start AC?
    Steam is pretty confusing, it looks like the game is bundled with the 3 dream packs but is not with the 3 Porsche packs.
    We are GT3/endurance drivers, we are not interested in production cars and we mainly want to take part into multiplayer via SrS and Competizione when available.
    So, what are the mandatory products to buy to start the game?

    3° I don't like the AI at all, they do stupid things and don't behave like real drivers, is it the best it gets?

    4° Is it possible to design our own liveries like we do with Trading Paints on iRacing.

    5° Is it possible to find clean multiplayer racing in any way?

    Yup, I think there's a separate server app that you need to run as well as the game.

    The Gt cars are spread across the DLC, you can't buy just the cars you want. I don't think you can really avoid buying all the DLC to get the full compliment of GT cars. There are deals to be had if you're willing to wait for steam sales.

    I think ti's possible to get modded AI, but for the most part the AI is what it is. Are you running them at 100% with some aggression thrown in?

    Don't know what trading paints is, but you can make a skin photoshop or any similar program.

    you can run a Dedicated server on a windows or linux box in your LAN... or just host it on one of your Computers at the same time.

    AI has the same physics as you.. only some aids to help them to stay on the track and be fast. ;)

    You can have pretty cool races with them. You can go side by side no problem... You just have to give them room thats all. You even can learn from them on a new track you never been to... They brake, accelerate and take turns the same way you do. So you can study and learn... Not all turns are perfect for them (I guess it has something to do with their AI line on that particular track).
