1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Make sure you take the assists off first. :)

  5. 1. Turn off the assists....run the game in pro mode...
    2. Load the street BMW Z4 at Magione
    3. Turn off all on-screen apps....turn off ghost car
    3. Make a couple hundred laps..keep making laps until you not only have the track memorized, but can make consecutive laps without going off or spinning out.
    4. Turn on the ghost car and make a few hundred more laps
    5. Now you are much faster than at step 1 and can at least somewhat control a car; now experiment with other paddle-shift cars at Magione.
    6. Once you can get into any paddle-shift car and run consecutive laps at Magione while hopefully being within a few seconds of the WR come back and let us know you are ready for the 'advanced' help and advice.

Most importantly of all, have fun driving the hell out of the car while doing all this!

What I would advice from seeing your video is focus more on having a fast/early exit rather than braking too deep into the corner. The Performance Delta app is very useful to see if you lose or gain time at any given moment.

I have to emphasize this single point because in my personal experience this is key to consistently drive fast lap times. Just turn off everything that distracts you or would make you want to push harder. Turn of all measurements of comparison, like ghost cars, lap times, delta meters and so on. Then start driving for an hour or two, just make your laps around the track over and over again. Start slow and calm, focus on not messing up, hitting apexes and exits. Then after the session (not inbetween!), check your lap times and you will see that when you're driving with ease, without pushing yourself to go faster and trying harder every lap, you'll start driving consistent (fast) lap times and setting personal records.

-I hope a useful tip for all players who come from the arcade driving is that there is speed and braking and stop there is also a brief slowdown in the car before making the decisive braking to set the curve, this allows you to have a guide much more checked and cleaned

    - If you decide to use the rail line is fine but we must learn to respect, in your video are many braking late and then you get very large, and this in turn makes you lose many seconds

exploiting well-enough track incoming outgoing but almost never, you're always too tight and so the car can not accelerate and give all the power, very important before the straights.

-practice practice and more practice, start running in mp without aggressive competition and without causing trouble simply holding the line and learning how to stay on track in traffic, this is very important

    - You'll see that after a long workout without realizing you have improved many seconds. Good luk

Turning off e ghost car is one of the most helpful advices, many a time i try to beat a ghost car and end up spinning out instead! :s

Just practise buddy slow in fast out until u understand power of car and turnn off all assists so u feel what happens under locking brakes and outta corner throttle control just get out there and race with others if u feel too slow pull aside let others pass and try to follow their racing line good luck keep it up.
