1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Steady on tiger. You've only had this one for two minutes. Get "bike fit". I can't recommend advanced training enough.

Fast rider on a slow bike. That's a good combination. My cousin is a quality rider. She has a BMW S1000RR and a Gladius SV. She uses the Suzuki everyday and can outpace most people with it.

I had my first ride out of 2019 on Friday. Very pleasant (heated grips :)) but I certainly didn't get near three figures, let alone 130.

I need to get bike fit myself.

Good point. Been a little caught up in the maintenance and tool/gear aspect of motorcycling that I overlooked the riding aspect a bit. Unfortunately, I didn't come up with anything on a quick Google search regarding the local Advanced Rider courses. I know we had/have something because I looked up the motorcycle permit and course info randomly many years ago. Looks like I'll have to ask around next time I hit up one of the shops I normally visit.

That said, I figured I'd test out that slip-on muffler since I was going to remove it once I got back. The SV650 sounds too tame for my liking with a muffler. With the top speed hunt checked off the list it's on to a whole other slew of concerns. Still need to get an adjustable kickstand because of the bike being lowered and troublesome on non-flat surfaces. Clutch cable needs to be lubricated or, at worst, replaced. Bought a SpeedoDRD to try and recalibrate the speedometer that's reading twice as high as it should be, but couldn't get that straightened out after a few attempts so I'm thinking the speed sensor itself could be defective. My new battery also drained completely after only a month of use, so I had to recharge that sucker overnight after returning from the joyride.

Other than all that, I'd like to take the bike around the island sometime and get some proper shots on my Pentax DSLR! Also thinking about a nighttime or early-morning around-the-island run in the distant future, though there's much to factor in with particularly road hazards (potholes especially) and gas station locations.

Heated grips sounds like fun! Not sure I can comprehend what a wind chill is like when riding. Hope you have a great 2019 on two wheels! Or any wheels for the matter. And quite the contrast between the two bikes your cousin owns! One day I hope to be quick and adept like she is.
