  1. Nicki tries ACC for the second time. He sounds much more positive than the first time

I hope @Aristotelis watches this and is very proud.

Nicki is saying he loves the feeling of chassis flex and the feeling of the car. "Way better than iracing"

Good stuff, he needs to try rain which arrives after a full grid lapping for some time to allow the track to rubber up.

  5. My impression or did he like ACC a lot better than iR?
  6. Kunos paid him, obviously :D :D

But honestly: In terms of driving, he was pretty impressed and made pretty clear, that attacking corners, managing weight and car is miles ahead of iRacing.

So it seems, Kunos Simulazioni improved quite a bit on driving feel in ACC ;)
  7. it is like it is. driving wise acc is much better than iracing. multiplayer wise still iracing got the throne. but acc has the potential to sit straight beside it ;)

there's some other iRacing streamers that slowly switches to ACC. which is a very good news. but indeed, having good opinion from a real GTE and GT3 driver is a totally good news. now, the multiplayer just needs some more improvements and iRacing will have some insanely huge competition (at last)

This really means something, as this guy was the most vocal on how the sim was not up to his standards. I only heard praise from him, kunos team has earned that praise, kudos to all the dev team and specially to the guys most involved in the physics development: Barbarrossa, Stefano and Aristotelis. The only flaws he saw where the wet driving line, as he drove in medium wet conditions 3 laps doing the wet line and another doing the dry line, and driving on the dry line he was inmediatly way faster and it felt off for him. And the audi R8 snap oversteer at spa, spinning like vettel every time he tried to take the raidillon on the dry in a car he has driven in real life. Other than that, kunos team received very very big praise, he even put ACC way ahead of Iracing physics wise.

He just pointed out what we all already knew: ACC is much better than IR !!!

If ACC puts more categories / cars and tracks and improves your CPs server system, goodbye IR

With the 5 point tyre patch and chassis flex ACC the main issues with ACC have been fixed, it always had the good stuff hiding underneath but was killed by the weirdness over bumps and curbs. It really is feeling great now and that natural feel plus being able to push the car and feel it react at the limit is why its my goto sim these days.

Im sure there is still room for improvement even in the physics side but it drives amazing most of the time already.

If the lobby can get fixed, take restrictions from public servers, add some ping limits. Then we could even run semi open leagues and more interesting casual high restriction public servers to give good racers more choice when it comes to mp racing.

CP servers could be ok (Ive never seen one) but things like the big grid events should also not be hidden in private servers, have these visible in the lobby and anyone within the restriction levels can join then ACC will get a good spike in MP userbase and some great options to use the awesome physics in some proper racing.

Indeed, but he’s probably very right about how difficult it must be to include a different grip line in the wet, for both a rubbed and washed track.
Most probably that is one of the reasons ACC has a rubbed line which is not fully dynamic, in the sense that it isn’t rubbed in the line effectively used by the cars but as a predetermined rubbed line, that progressively increases, in the dry, and washes out, with rain.

I myself have raced online with a few Iracing drivers, usually AM drivers that really shine in racing behaviour and race pace and don’t hide they come from Iracing, inclusive putting some questions in the chat about some completely normal aspects of ACC, that are new to them.

He must like how ACC handles now, he stayed legal through Eau Rouge and Raidillon this time,... mind you he had to lift,... :)

    Nice lap.

Funny how when one is criticizing ACC physics his knowledge gets questionned right away ("this dude has no credibility", "hes an iRacing fanboy anyway", "even though he's a real GT3 driver I can't take any of his words seriously", "he's paid by SMS" lol) but when he's praising it his opinion magically becomes valid again. Just saying

Did you even watched one of the videos? Nobody attacked his first video in this forum by the facts he stated like strange car behaviour over kerbs and bumps etc.
People were criticizing him because he just jumped into the game, didn't even bother to look at the setup screen, went with the Safe preset and complained about understeer later on. Also tire pressures way off, tires also too cold etc.

In the second video he seems to be much better prepared, loads the aggressive preset, drives in Hotlap conditions with right tire pressures and temperatures and 'magically' his option is about 90deg different than before.
On top of that he has chassis flex and 5 point tire model which makes the car behaviour a lot more natural and predictable.

So where is actually your point? What is wrong about that ACC in it's current state just feels amazing and is very rewarding and probably as real as it can get be?

Sometimes you can't to understand this community...
