1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Did you notice that editing one's own posts isn't possible any longer .... the previous button for it disappeared.
    Else said, impossible to correct a mistake if one was done.

    EDIT .... now that's back when using the "More Options" feature.
    I'm trying now a usual message with this feature for test.

    I get a message that I dont have sufficient privileges to post in the bug forum so I will ask here. I want to run ACC in windowed mode . The main reasons are so I can access my pedal and fanalab from the toolbar.

    So in options Video..fullscreen ..I disabled this and left it that way and rebooted but no difference..........so question is...can you run in Windows mode


    btw: what would be the correct thread to post this in if I dont have posting
    privileges ?

    Somehow i can read the support topics but i cant post. Steam is linked. Logout-login didn't solve, removed all cookies but still got the "You have insufficient privileges to reply here." message. :(

    Hi guys,

    I tried last week to link my forum account to my ACC Steam account and got immediately banned because of a failed check.
    I sent a mail to support, didn't get any answer.

    So I created this new account and would like to know what the correct procedure is to verify that I actually own the game and link it to this forum account.
    If that is only needed, of course, I'm quite confused here.

    I just tried that and immediately got:
    You have been banned for the following reason: Steam check failed - AC license not found

    And I'm then logged in (banned, which is not very helpful) as the first banned account ID.
    I had to delete all ACC cookies, log back in with this account and post this reply.

    I'm kind of stuck here :/

    Hm, then i would wait maybe till tomorrow. Then you should get a reaction from support. Sounds like a Technical problem. I Think they have not that much time today for such things. :)
