1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Although I'm pumped up by the new record thing, especially after watching the onboard video and how the car negotiates corners, I still find it hard to find many Honda cars that are particularly interesting to me. Maybe the S2000 road car, the old NSX road car (plus the upcoming laserscanned Laguna Seca will definitely draw a lot of attention and use), and the new NSX GT3 race car.

    Maybe I'm the only one but I really dislike the styling of the new Civic, and the new Civic Type R looks like they try way too hard on styling.

    No you're not the only one, there are a few haters in the Honda community, most common complaint is that it looks like a Subaru (tbf most guys hating are driving around in old Hondas and could never afford a +30k hatchback)

    @bondyboy: While I thought the previous generation was horrible as far as looks go, I think the new one is really nice, aggressive but still has some flowy lines, and it's also really fast.I'm not yelling for Honda, because it's obviously a big deal as far as licensing goes, but some hot hatches wouldn't hurt.:oops:

    For me it's way too 'dads been to Halfords'. In rl I prefer performance but with understated styling, but then I'm 45 lol...

    I would like to see more of these class of car in the sim though.

    Japanese Pack #2? Hondas + Suzuka and maybe Tsukuba, that would be amazing. Btw Tsukuba and those 1 minute time attacks. People go crazy about Nordschleife lap times, but they forgot that there is a benchmark of "1 minute car" on Tsukuba. Anyway, Im a fanboy of Hot Version so...

    Hot version is incredibly addicting. It's like Gran Turismo IRL, with Assetto Physics :D No limitations, no penalties or any other distractions keeping you from just plain raw Jap on Jap racing. That...came out a little strange. I'll leave it :p

    AC creating simulated VTEC would be astronimically awesome.
    Dodge/Chrysler would certainly be "the one" for american additions. I'm not a Ford fan at all and I own a Dodge Dakota 1999 V6 single cab manual. Doubt that would EVER make it into a sim, but the truck is famed for being rare (single cab manual), driving like a car and also the 'ole "drive it 'till the wheels fall off" is a true Dodge saying....because it actually IS driving the wheels off.

    EDit: also what better way to increase attention than to acquire the license of a company that killed it's racing pedigree for.....well to me, not really any reason. Let the sim racers know what SHOULD have been :)
