1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Yeah we used to be able to post WIP stuff here but they did away with it. To add to the confusion some people have made posts about certain cars and tracks but they are not necessarily WIP posts. They are more just people getting the word out about a certain mod and are not usually posted by the content creator.

    Some have pushed the issue here in the screenshots forum showing non released WIP stuff. But in general it is not allowed.

    I heard a while ago that Kunos shut down the mod sharing side of things on here (which makes sense from their point of view) So I found those button things confusing... But then it doesn't take much to confuse me sometimes lol

    Just to clarify... Am I pushing the issue with posting photo's on here of a track I'm working on?... I have little idea of how forums work! And would rather follow the rules. Thanks for your info mate :)

    ...it doesn´t say that we´re not allowed to post anything WIP? If we do so, it´s still AC related "chit chat", as long as there´s no download link and no rip content.

    Maybe I will have to put in signs similar to Black Cat County... You know the Massive chevron things?

    It's a shame Assetto couldn't reset back to the nearest part of the track you came off from... Would be a good thing for long tracks like this and... Transfagarasan... Lake Louise... etc
    I'm sure the coding gods at Kunos would have no trouble putting that option in...

    I'm glad you're liking the track enough to... go again...:)

    If you haven't done so.. I'd recommend putting the track map on.. And track description... Then when the section name comes up you'll know if it has some nasty corners coming up.

    Most of the bumps are smoothed out... Added some Audio Zones... Added some ambient track sounds...
    Started playing about with the fresnal shaders on the tarmac to add a subtle sheen to it.

    Currently working on some collision meshes, and will sort those trees out by the next release... hopefully by the weekend
    Also starting to model some gas stations.......... Along the lines of this....

    Cool mate, it now has the North version... so you can fly off it from a different direction ;) lol

    Although I have put some invisible collision meshes to help on the worst corners... Rename, Move or Remove 7.kn5 if you like the extra danger ;) lol

    The invisible walls are a little way from the track and they're not everywhere, so you can't rely on them... But they might just save you! :)

    Pacific Coast - Version 0.699 - Hopefully coming in the next week or two :) This video features a simulated "Chase Bike Cam", Surely one day this could be a valuable addition to the camera sets in Assetto..

    Surely all that's needed is a camera attached to a pivoting pole that travels along the AI spline? With the focal point NOT attached to the centre of the viewed car... As unlocking that shows AC's superb physics in action ;)
