1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I went back to stock settings no OC, checked all temperatures while running ACC and still as soon as I start a quick race in the rain the PC crashes... This issue only occures with ACC (since update 0.1.1)

If your computer keeps restarting itself during gameplay, it's more than likely a hardware failure (knowing that you've been overclocking in the past) and/or faulty power supply.

I've had this happen 2 times to me over the years. Not saying it's your issue but..........

    1. PSU was working completely fine till I overclocked the 680's. It could no longer handle that tine extra bit of draw so restarted PC.

    2. EK water pump leaked, shorting itself. GPU overheat protection kicked in and reset PC.

Good luck, hope you get it fixed

    ;)

Issue is solved, the PSU could not handel the power draw of the 980. I restricted the 980's power target to 80% using EVGA's precision OC software, and I was able to complete the quick race in the rain that was failing earlier. Now I will have to find the sweet spot that my Corsair CX750 is capable of handling... Wich means I have to drive more ACC what a shame;)

    Excellent news.

Might be a good idea to get that 750w swapped out. Running it at 99% capacity could be a disaster.

My thoughts exactly, since the current PSu is only bronze plus certificated I was thinking about an upgrade. Is a 850W gold plus cetified PSU enough power?

I'm certainly not an expert in any description of the word.

My solution to the same problem was to just go and get a Corsair AX1200i and never have to worry about it again. They seem to have gone up £100 since I got mine :(

It should be more than enough. Your old 750W PSU should also have been enough but may have started to develop faults. Take a look at https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator to get a rough idea of how much power you're using.
