1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory.
  2. FOR ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE: If you report issues with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder!
  3. If your game executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, then run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether.

If you're struggling with the DOF factor slider on the new Photo mode, and I can see why you would - it seems to be pretty much on/off now, then swinging the mouse to the right edge of the screen brings up the overlay app list. Choose the Photo Mode one from there and you'll get the old beta controls shown in OmegaDrebin's post. That will give you far better control over the amount of DOF effect (sadly, it's an effect, rather than the renderer doing a whole exposure triangle thing to work out DOF, brightness and graininess) than the standard control sliders, which is still very much flaky. I've been finding a combination of the two control sets works quite well.

Thanks for your reply :) will test this now.

EDIT: how do I set the focus?? all I have for now is a blurred car but I want the background to be blurred :/

If you enabled Photo-mode via App (as Iain L described) you can hold right mouse-button and scroll wheel to get through the DOF-focus fast. You'll see quite easily then when the car (or parts of it) are in focus, normally small values less then 20, depending on the picture.
Use the buttons in the app for finetuning then. :)
