Playseat challenge th8a shifter mount

Hi all thought i would share how i mounted the th8a shifter to my playseat challenge.
Really simple and just two things needed,
a Pole U bracket

and a heavy duty angle bracket,

Just fit the pole braket on chair, it sits at a slight angle, then fit angle bracket to ple mount, you may have to drill holes to match in angle bracket. here are some pics so you can see what i done, it is really solid, you can also turn angle bracket up the other way to how i have it if you prefer the shifter lower





Any questions please ask, cost was £7.50 in total

Have had the chair for less than a week and this is how I have solved it so far.
Not super stable but it works.

 

Nice, i would definitely try with with the angle and pole bracket its solid and if you turn it upside down to how it is in my pics it sits in a natural position as in car would be

I did see that idea but few said its still a bit wobbly and also cost alot more, trust me there is no movement at all with angle bracket.

 

Angle bracket ftw, spray it black would look better.
