1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

For racing that’s a no from me, but from flight games that could actually be prety cool as the range of motion is more suited to that

Hmm, it's not the 1st of April yet, so... OMFG it's a real product.
    Yeah - no.

It really does, but think about it for a flight sim? Thing has huge freedom of movement, would be fairly awesome

Yes, but: my gut feeling from watching the video was that the movement was... basically human-assisted. In other words, the users seemed to be having to lean around to help it move. If that's the case (weak motors?) then it kinda spoils the effect regardless of the type of sim.

Doubt it, wouldn’t need a lot of power at all to move it. It’s on 3 motors and just rubber wheels hold it. Prety clever idea really

It's the power needed to move the human that worries me ;)
For sure it's a clever idea though.

You are placed on the pivot point so effort is minimal

You may be right, but I've played with the playground version of that type of thing, and your centre of gravity doesn't have to be moved very much to build up a lot of momentum spinning around and around (until you puke! :D).
I'm happy to give it the benefit of the doubt until a real gamer gives it a proper review...

It is a bit silly stuff like VR headset, but I can totally feel an idea. Yeah power needed is probably not so little to make it spin fast, but I suppose to greater than usual motion rig, and I think this provides more fun than motion rig, maybe.

I have had a simple motion stuff idea myself :D Which wouldn't make you kick your pets and family members around :D

Remember that people make motion rigs using car window wiper motors. Power needed is all about how you implement it

I think it also depends on work which needs to be done.

Notice when shows him using VR there is no cables going to the headset...why?.. because cables would get all tangled up in a twisted mess..looks cool..but in reality would not work unless you have wireless headset..and how many have that

Seat position actually looks a bit F1-ish. Only downside is that it needs a VR headset since you can't use it well in front of a screen.
