1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Alien on RSR that has 49 track records.

Got time down to 7:40.913 after 25 lap attempts.

So 7:34 is not gonna be possible.

We drive without stability control, which is often activated or slightly on in during tests like this. maybe that´s a reason

This lap time is not possible, something is different, either RL car or AC recreation. Managed to do 7:46 and i have maybe 2 to 3 seconds left. But boy does this car gives some po*nographic FFB..

  6. I did 7:37 with a somewhat not that great lap so... And since you have to take out the small straight, that's close to 7:30.

The car does seem slower than it should be tho, and it drives bad.

(srsly tho, do everyone have me on ignore LOL)

You mean they start to measure somewhere on the pit exit and end the measure where AC ends/starts? That's about right then, 7.37 already beats it if that's how they measure. And 7.37 not that great lap lol, get out of here.

I compared William run with Sport Auto run. (unlisted on youtube & still be)

The massive lost of time is during heavy elevation.

William run is a lot more pushed, but overall the car behavior is quite impressive.

Why isn't it on RSR ?

Really interested in your sector times.

Top time on RSR is 7:39.xxx

Edit: You're alien but shiit where are you finding that time from.

To be fair, very few "fast" people use RSR anymore, "back in the day" it was much harder to get in the top 40-50 or so, quite fun for hotlapping.
@MrDeap: Good comparison, you can clearly see how much more composed the real car is.

  11. Can't be arsed to update it hahahaha

@MrDeap, thanks. But really, the way the car drives when you're doing the lap... Nah.

You can always have a 1:1 time that look like that.

Lol...smart people having a stupid discussion and then there's such an easy explanation :) So the car seems in the ballpark laptime-wise...the oversteer mid-corner aside.

+1. Apart from that necessity to countersteer the RL car doesn't look way different. After all AC lap was faster than RL now.

Can we see the AC lap from exterior with focus on the rear wheels? Maybe the rear wheels still point corner out while they should already point corner in to increase stability.

Haha, you are comparing William's lap to the real one and you think it's a fair comparison.Stop making excuses for the car, I posted several examples where you can compare, if you can't see the difference in chassis control, then I can't help you.

It's William Levesque replay file which can be downloaded in thread on page 1.
Obviously it isn't. One done by a professional driver, while the other was done by someone who has an anime chick avatar playing Assetto Corsa. :p

Try driving at 9/10th's like the driver in the video, see where it gets you.No one even bothered to check up the real life examples to see how the chassis and the whole car performs, compared to the in-game version, this is just banter at this point :).
