Possible to setup Porsche Cayman S (718) with PDK?

I would like to use the Cayman S (718) but with the PDK transmission. The Boxster seemed to have both PDK and non-PDK versions but unfortunately the Cayman S did not. I'd love if the developer would add a PDK variant, but if that wasn't possible, is there a way for me to set it up in such a way that it mimics the PDK? I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to make a request regarding cars from the developer or information on changing transmissions, I am very new to this simulator (which I picked up specifically for this vehicle) and forum. Thank you!

 

Unplug your H-pattern. (you might need to turn on auto-clutch and auto-blip)

 

I tried this, and the lightening quick shifts the PDK demonstrates in the real car seem absent, and it doesn't seem to pick the correct gear as the actual vehicle does. Standard is 6 speed and PDK is 7, could be the ratios, too.

 

tbh, just drive the Boxster if you want PDK. Apart from tiny differences (Cayman is a tad faster at high speeds, Boxster is a tad more nimble in the corners), they drive pretty much identically.

Edit: the gears in the manual and the PDK car are obviously different, with the latter having slightly lower gears.

 

Another thing:
You Cayman drivers got the Cayman GT4. So if you request the Cayman S with PDK, I request in return the Boxster Spyder, which basically the same as the Cayman GT4, but better looking.

 

It's a manual car so AC gives you slower shifts when using paddles. Auto boxes in full auto mode aren't accurately modelled in AC, auto gears is only modelled as a generic assist.

I think it's intended to try to encourage people to use the correct shifting method and to make sure using paddles to shift n a manual car isn't an obvious advantage.
