possible to use 1 large screen and 2 smaller ones seamlessly?

Hey,
Is it possible to use 1 large screen and 2 smaller side screens but still have the images aligned?
I know Project Cars 2 allows you to use different physical size monitors.. does AC allow me to do this?
If so, could you please tell me how?
I'm an absolute newbie to AC tho , I only just about managed to find the in game triple monitor setup app.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I always wanted to do that have a big screen in the middle and have two smaller screen on each side for the side mirrors, that would be awesome.

 

No, the triple monitor app can't do this.

 

I invested some ~10 hours trying to get something like that to work once. It didn't really work for me - aligning the images needs to be done with external tools like Nvidia surround and then you need to scale the aspect ratio of the monitor, as well...I ended up very frustrated and buying 2 additional screens in the proper size.

I recommend to not even try it ;-)

I have sunk too many hours into trying to get this to work now.
I almost have a workable solution, but it requires 3rd party software to resize the window if you want to get at the apps etc (SRWE).
I would have a 100% solution IF you could just choose the location of the bezels on screen. It seems they are always dividing the window equally by 3. If you could adjust that then it would be simple.
I can't understand WHY they would not put that as an option in the game.

 

You could just have listened and saved all those hours. But some mistakes you need to do yourself, it seems. I was told it didn't work and tried it, anyways ;-)

I don't know any game that supports this, though. Can you name some where it works? Preferrably, where you tried it yourself?

Unfortunately I'd forgotten I posted on this forum and so I didn't see your reply until it was too late!.. but i would probably have tried anyway .. just in case
Project Cars 2 allows you to use 3 monitors of different sizes. I have tried it and have its running as good as it can with my graphics card.
it can auto detect the resolutions of your monitors then you can adjust offsets etc for each screen. If you have different sized monitors like me you can mess about with the nvidia desktop settings, and once you have that aligned correctly the game will just use these resolution settings.
It works really well .
I definately had them working on Elite: Dangerous too. can't remember exactly how successful that was tho... they probably didnt align very well.
