[PSR] Pit Speed - Racing | VLN Series 1.0

Introduction

Hello fellow Simracing friends!
We are a small, german Sim Racing Community and want to introduce ourself.

Our homeland is our little nice Discord. It's warm and cozy and full of Raceheads who wants to see the Asphalt burn. In the first half of our existence we just drove together and raced for fun. But we experienced that's not enough and started joining endurance races and began to start our own little league races. Our skill level is a mix from rookie to very talented racers, who try to push theire limits. In conclusion we are searching all typ of skill levels.

On track we keep it simple: Drive as fast as you can, but keep it fair!

That's how you get the most fun out of every event. We hope you all agree that having fun together should be the most important part of a community. So basically we define our fun in the way we are driving. Mostly driving just together and try to beat the other in terms of timelaps, positon, or sometimes in drifting skills. But also fighting hard for competitions like in our little league. A good laugh will finish the mixture.

Communication wise we are mostly german speaking. For the best experience you should be able to speak german. But most of us are able to speak an understandable english and so we enjoy the company of english speaking people too. So feel free to check us out.

[PSR] VLN Series 1.0

So here comes the main part!

Our goal in the VLN Series is to replicate the iconic VLN Event. Multiple classes on track and compete against each other. AWESOME!

But unfortunately we are to small to fullfill this dream. So we decided to split things up. We want to drive a championship, where every event represents an other class of the vln series. Winning an event will grant you extra points. At the end the driver with the most points will win this series. It's as easy as that.

Theire will be six Events in total:

The first Event will be a Test Race in the Audi TTRS VLN. This one will not count towards the championship. It is determined to sort out mistakes and get things properly done. After the test Phase we will anounce the rest of the series with all needed information to compete in there.

Right now theire are two testraces planed:

#1 Race: This saturday, 17.04.2021 @around 8pm (CET/MEZ)
#2 Race: Next saturday, 24.04.2021 @around 8pm (CET/MEZ)


The Race Day

Training Session:
one hour, 20:00 - 21:00

Qualification:
45 min, 21:00 - 21:45

Warm Up:
15 min, 21:45 - 22:00

Race:
12 Laps

Nordschleife - Endurance Cup

Conditions:
- 100% grip
- 100% tyre wear
- 100% fuel rate
- driving in daylight
- CSP & SOL recommended

We know it will be a long saturday, but unfortunatly we are workers and have to take care about our families. So thats the best compromiss we could found. Also it is really important for me, that every single event feels like one. What I mean is that you will feel raising tension the further the event goes that day. It shall create the atmosphere of a complete racing day. Just to honor this awesome track.
