1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    We are releasing another preview version of our 1.0.5 Hotfix.

    This update contains fixes to the Multiplayer driver swaps. Please not that both team members *have* to use this beta build, and the server has to be this build's executable.

    To find information about how to opt into the public beta branch, visit this thread:
    https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...ut-hotfix-1-and-the-public-beta-branch.57636/

    Please keep this topic clean and indicate in your reports the version you are using!

    1.0.5:
    RATING & MULTIPLAYER:
    - Minor changes to the server ping system.
    - Fixed CP servers memorizing disconnected users in certain situations.
    - Added 2nd results json file (via dumpLeaderboards) that contains more information.
    - Enabled Lumirank display in Multiplayer
    - (Slightly) reduced amount of necessary netcode pakets especially while other cars are changing setups.
    - Fixed server trying to connect to the secondary lobby backend first.
    - Race weekend resets now reset the track grip as intended again.
    - Added configuration option "randomizeTrackWhenEmpty".
    - Added "forceEntryList" option for non-public servers.
    - Fixed "maxClientsOverride" not working as indented, including the calculation for specator slots left on busy servers.
    - Improved "/next" admin command, which now always forces the end of the session instead of skipping to the next one.
    - Race weekend simulation now allows to chain sessions, so the weather and track condition will just carry over.
    - CP Servers will now chain the Qualifying session into the Race session, so the starting conditions are well known.
    - Teleports of the own car will now re-focus it in the last drivable camera.
    - Improved backend stability, moved one in-memory cache layer to hard disk.
    - Server now creates the required folders if necessary.
    - The Pitstop MFD can now be used in FP and Q while driving in a team, allowing swaps in all session types.
    - Updated Server Admin Handbook v2 to cover: "Custom cars", "overrideCarModelForCustomCar", "customCar"; "forceEntryList"; "randomizeTrackWhenEmpty"
    - Fixed setup and timing serialization in driver swap situations. The car taking over should now be able to use the Pitstop MFD as intended.

    Thanks for this.

    In the previous 105 update, although new results files were reported in the release notes, the ones generated by the server seemed identical to the old ones in everything but filename.

    Has this been addressed in this beta release?

    1. you need to have a server setup with 2 SteamIDs on one car
    2. the first to connect gets into the car and can drive - he sees the name and status of both drivers on the upper left of the screen (ie.: Driver1=driving, Driver2=offline)
    3. second driver joins server and sees the first one driving. Status changes fro Driver2=online
    4. 1st driver goes to pit and selects "change driver" from Pit menu
    actually there is a good explanation in the Server Handbook that you find in your server directory

    Is overrideCarModelForCustomCar working in this build or will come in the next one because I can't make it work. (livery and race number work fine but overrideCarModelForCustomCar : 1 or 0 and always loads the model in the livery file).

    After the patch, micro-freezes appeared.
    Sometimes they become long lasting.
    This has not happened before.

    In this build we are still getting rolling time in the server, its not taking into account the session times set. Also grip level was always green with some rain over 3 race runs at 15Q 30R, I actually like the low grip running some times but seems other builds it was mostly optimal unless it rained now it seems to stay green no matter the day set in server. Server is set to SA75 3 medals, not sure if that has any effect on this as its similar to the CP servers setup.

    Code:
    {
        "track": "barcelona",
        "eventType": "E_6h",
        "preRaceWaitingTimeSeconds": 100,
        "postQualySeconds": 15,
        "postRaceSeconds": 30,
        "sessionOverTimeSeconds": 100,
        "ambientTemp": 22,
        "trackTemp": 30,
        "cloudLevel": 0.699999988079071,
        "rain": 0.30000001192092898,
        "weatherRandomness": 2,
        "sessions": [{
                "hourOfDay": 11,
                "dayOfWeekend": 2,
                "timeMultiplier": 16,
                "sessionType": "Q",
                "sessionDurationMinutes": 15
            },
            {
                "hourOfDay": 18,
                "dayOfWeekend": 3,
                "timeMultiplier": 16,
                "sessionType": "R",
                "sessionDurationMinutes": 30
            }
        ],
        "configVersion": 1
    }
    It would be a nice option later on if we could set a server to have rolling time of day and weather or set dependant on the event setup.

    Sometimes it can be background updates of Windows or whatever third party software.

    Did you run the previous 1.0.5 betas? For me there has been no such issues, maybe post your logs as I dont even know if anything has been change that could cause these in 1.0.5 betas.

    The server time runs between the session in part simply and does not set to the time that is set for the session. Is like the Ver. 1.5.0 before. I'm back to 1.4.0 now, everything works.

    Unfortunately I'm back to version 1.0.4. Problems with friezes immediately gone.
    Also in the beta patch 1.0.5, the problem with the speed of loading textures on the first start was even worse, they began to load for a very long time.
    Also, the readability of the dashboard has deteriorated very seriously.

  21. I feel to say but ACC need a lot of performance optimization
