Questions for upcoming Stefano live stream session

I would like to know if we will ever get the option to map the keyboard controls to a wheel and button boxes.

I have to agree, some older cars could do with a rework - the M3 GT2 comes to mind (which in itself sounds nice to listen to but also very flat). But I think they already mentioned that a long while ago when they teased the new sound equipment.

Can you elaborate on that? You can roll over in cars already, just not from normal kerbs in the official cars (as it should be?). But you can, see the Reliant Robin.

@ Stefano - would it be possible to implement being able to get out of the Escape menu (when on track) through pressing the Escape key again? Some streamlining for convenience sake.

 

Any plans on improving collisions between wheels and things other than the ground? (Things like walls, other wheels...)

 

Intermediate times in multiplayer: is in the radar for 1.7? Or in the near future (before console lauch)?

 

Hi stefano,

will the pitstopmenü get the option for changing wheelpressure in the future? ATM its senseless to change from Medium tyres to soft or hard because there is no option to fit the pressure to the tyrecompound.

More than a few good, serious questions here so far. Yet to lighten things up a little...

Is there any chance we can have cats, 3D modeled in the game? Maybe track side in the pits, or as part of the scenery? Or maybe a really big cat on roller skates with a jet pack we can control/drive on the track?

I keep getting these subliminal messages in AC that time spent with cats is a wonderful investment!

If you can't increase the feline quantity in the game, i understand. Thank you for making a wonderful racing simulation

Oh well...

1. All buttons re-map ability.... its 2016 for crying out loud
2. Replay currently doesn't record what the apps are supposed to be showing like current position, lap etc.

Edit: It actually records the lap no. but not the position in the race, cant remember what else it doesnt record.

 

1) any plans to add more guitars to the collection?
2) ever been to the rock & roll hall of fame & museum?
3) would you ever think about writing /performing instrumental guitar solo for AC?

 

As you can see from the insane numbers that Overwatch is doing, multiplayer is HUGE if players have the infrastructure to rack and stack them based on their performance (among other things). @Minolin has proved that we can collect enough data to group players in Assetto Corsa. Why doesn't Kunos take it to the next level and create a matchmaking system with all the bells and whistles that gamers have come to expect?

 

Does the nondisclosure agreement with Microsoft means that there will be new functionalities in Assetto Corsa?

I feel sorry for Stefano, because half of the things you are asking about is already made by community, you are just to lazy to search. 1/3 of questions were already answered by him many times.

Yeah let's just stop developing the game, the community can do the rest.

 

Community made apps wont be able for console users as an example. And to take some work off Stefanos shoulders, could you tell us the answers on the questions in this thread that have been answered that many times?

 

THAT was a point for making Assetto Corsa mods friendly, too help him develop the game. Some silly staff like false starts leave for community and have more time for serious staff like braking temp or VR support

 

It's great that Assetto is as mod-friendly as it is but community mods will just never replace official feature support by the devs. And also, just stop for a moment and think of the console version which has no mod-support whatsoever and would benefit of the features people ask for even more so. Now, if the devs officially adopt or support said features made by the community that's an entirely different story.

Also, while you're in principle right that people ask too many redundant questions not everyone has time to watch every single of Stefano's live streams and read the entire forum. Are those people not allowed to ask? Instead of your comment you could leave a friendly reminder that question X was already covered in episode Y or forum post Z. But nope.
