1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I'm not seeing it, myself. If I get the behaviour after a windows update, I'll be able to fix it then.

    Hey guys,

when I try to download the zip-file it says that I have not the permission to do the action. What am I missing?

    Thanks in advance!

I must say this app helped me "feel" the aero on the car for the first time ever on Silverstone. Seeing the car pitch and load up is so much easier and looking through a bumpy turn has never felt more natural. Great app!

First post here. These forums and members seem great! Glad to be a part of it!

I am also having the same issue. I created this account and even linked my steam account but the download will not work for me.

Edit: I linked my Steam account which then recognized I have a licensed ACC version. Then the download worked. Hope this helps others who had the same issue I did!

    Hello,

I have an issue with this application: sometimes I lose this depth feeling I have using the app when all the elements of the cockpits move not at the same speed depending of their depth in the cockpit (vertical camera movements due to the small bumps on the track). I know this is not easy to describe it.
So, sometimes, these kind of camera movements stop and all the elements of the cockpit move at the same speed making the depth feeling less pronounced.
In this case I have to stop and re-start the RHM application to get everything back.

    I hope @WallyM will understand what I said :)

Edit: It looks like this camera movement is linked to the Accel G's Pitch setting
So it seems this setting, sometimes, is disabled or at least does not work anymore

Edit2: @WallyM , I found how to reproduce the issue: after a 'look behind' the Accel G's pitch effect stops working.

I can't reproduce it, but I can see how it might be happening. Can you please unzip the attached RealHeadMotionAssettoCorsaCompetizione.exe and drop it into your RHMAC folder and try it.

What have you got bound to look behind?

    Hello @WallyM , now it works :)
    Thanks for the fix.

Bound to the look behind I have: Fanatec Rotation Y+

What kind of hardware device is that? Something that might not be calibrated to zero?

@WallyM one short question regarding the look behind: in ACC when you look behind the camera goes up and rotate 180 degrees, you are higher than the roof of the car.
When I use your app with AC the look behind behavior is a little bit different: the camera doesn't go up and you stay in the car.
Is it a behavior 'as design'? Thanks.

I think it was by design. From memory, AC has a dedicated look behind, but ACC doesn't? I can't remember now.

RHM was originally for AC, and was then brought across to ACC. So some RHM features for AC might not be needed for ACC now.

I hate to be this guy but does RHM work if you already use head tracking? Or do you have it choose one or the other?

Edit: NVM I'll just try it and report back.
