1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

i dont have a lot of budget, what new cards are comparable with the 770 and what card will be able to run ACC ?

i was thinking something on the line of new 1050\1050TI or used 970 but i cant really find a used 970 locally, maybe on amazon?

Condolences, had the same some weeks ago...
I’d suggest a 1060, cause it runs my system well, even in VR using a DK2.

1060 is out of budget, the 3gb version will cost me 350$.
i did find a msi gtx-970 for around 170$ it was used for 2 years, is there a risk of buying that you think?
new 1050ti will cost me 260$

If, getting a card preowned, i'd imagine it'd be good to be sure it wasn't used in a mining rig.

Can you hold of at all? New card anouncemts in a few weeks would surely mean some decent price drops incoming to clear current stocks

iam not going to see any price drops in the stores here anyway, maybe second hand but i cant just wait around for months until new cards are going to be sold.
i also need to use Photoshop and intel 4600 wont be able to handle large files and complex brushes.

Hey Shimon, where are you living ?
Maybe someone is able to get you a GPU cheaper in their area of living and send it to you ?
I´d very much advise against buying 2nd hand GPU´s, no way of knowing what that piece of equipment already went through, you know ?

I would recommend any Ti-card. It is absolutely worth the extra cost.

  11. I got a used GTX 1070 for around €320 some time ago. Two mounth old and it was one mounth part of a mining rig.
To be honest I don't be a friend of such stuff but I've to replace my dying GTX 770 as soon as possible.
So I got it to the half price of a new one this time. With close to all warranty.

The performance of this GPU is awesome especially in comparsion with my old one.

I hope I'll not regret this move.

    UPDATE!

I fixed it lol (for now)

took it apart, gave it a good clean put new thermal paste and heat the **** out of the chip with a powerful hair dryer for sevral minutes.
and it booted perfectly no issues at all, just installed Nvidia drivers and ran valley benchmark with over 120fps and at 67c.

now the question is, how long will it last do you guys think? and if it goes again will i be able to just repeat the process of heating it up and plugging it back again?

also an intresting video about this type of "fix"
