1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    ACC is the most CPU intense of the lot so if a thermal issues shows up anywhere it will be here. Just saying it’s worth checking as there’s a few comparisons out there now that show a much higher improvement then that.

    Nope, its the cpu botleneck...for sure it can get better if i overclock to 5ghz, but my cooler only alow 4.6 atm. For comparison, here is the same benchmark at default 8700k clock.

    Hi Frank,

    just out of interest, because I got the same CPU and GPU. 4,6 is fairly low for the 8700K. Is it possible you give it too much current?

    My stats:

    4,7 Ghz all cores = 1,245 V
    4,9 Ghz all cores = 1,28 V (now)

    I played Barcelona with full field yesterday and average was between 120 and 141 (framerate limit RTSS).

    I really depends which track you play though.

    Settings everthing epic, changed foliage to mid, but 100 % car lod, 16 cars visible. More than 20 cars really lower the FPS.

    Just 2560x1080. I guess your resolution also keeps the 3080 busy so the CPU only limits partielly. Maybe I'll test it tomorrow.

    But your voltage is pretty low for 4,7 Ghz. Maybe you have case ventilation issues.

    but i can run prime95 fft for 2 hours and get max 80 degress. I think its stable. If you try 5760x1080 i'm sure you'll also see the drop.

    Btw. HT is turned off. Helps with the temp plus OC. Most games won't utilize more than 6 cores today and ACC no exception.

    Is that still a bit low? Had a quick look and there was a bunch of 3080 cards around 15500 ish range, impossible to know what OC state they are in though.

    My suggestions is update your motherboard bios, chipset drivers and do a clean install of the video card drivers.

    After updating your bios reset it to default and set the RAM profile to XMP again to make sure it’s running at full speed

    Run a bunch of common benchmarks and see how they compare to others. I would use CPU-Z, Cinebench, Unigine Heaven and some of the 3D mark stuff. Basically popular tools where you can find comparison results easily on review sites.

    Once you are happy that the benchmark scores you are getting match what it should be then apply your overclocks and benchmark again.

    Again, i think 12.000 is fine. I dont thrust those user benchmarks. 12.147 for 3080 Gaming Trio.

    Yeah, they are hard to judge as you never know if they are from people playing with liquid nitrogen. Updating all the stuff is always a good idea anyway, definitely check what the RAM is actually configured to run at as ACC (and sims in general) seem to like high memory bandwidth and benchmark specific components like RAM and CPU. Can’t hurt

    Well....updated bios and cleared everything and now i lost 500 points on Vr Mark Orange demo (5%?) after the bios update Did a google search and it is Intel microcode update that make this. Now my score is 12.000.

    Yep...xmp profile is set RAM is at 3.200 GHZ. My old bios was from 01/2019 the lastest is 11/2019. Whats your orange mark score btw?

    Couldn't resist to upgrade to a 9900KF, 5 Ghz all cores at max 70°. PayPal offered me to pay it in 12 months without interest..

    Btw. running 3200 MHz RAM frequency will cost FPS due to CPU limit. 3600 Mhz should be possible and gives a nice boost for free.
