Rumor: Private Lobbies will never be added ?

Sad but true

 

if this is the case then i can safely say Assetto Corsa will be turned into a memory for me, sadly. where is this so called rumor located?

 

Must admit multiplayer is what i prefer but getting boring qualifying only to be knocked out of race by a numpty at first corner, and the only talk from devs is to tell everyone to calm down.

 

Agree , if this is the case I'll finish the career and thats the end for me also.

Agree with the first part, totally not agree with the second. If you keep not offering private lobbies but you offer to manage the public lobbies, the multiplayer will be a NIGHTMARE. This way is better, you just cant leave control of the lobbies to the people because it will be a jungle of options.

 

The guys at Kunos should "just" copy the lobby system that I experienced in Forza Motorsport 3 (never played the latter ones, so I don't know if it improved or got worse after that game).
Then, the game would be perfect.

 

Forza has custom private lobbies just like Pcars , I don't understand why Assetto doesn't have them ?

 

How was it?

 

Detailed custom private loads of options all forza games have fully fleshed mp much like Pcars.

 

Anybody heard anything about turn 10 buying kunos?

Pcars didn't have custom private lobbies at launch, can't speak for forza, never played it but just be patient guys.... They're working on it.

 

As far as I can remember Pcars has always had private lobbies.

 

Project Cars ALWAYS had Private Lobbies.

I can't remember exactly but I know some sort of major change happened regarding lobbies in one of the patches on pcars.. All I'm saying is though, kunos and 505games have said they're working on it so just be patient guys..

 

You said Pcars did not have private lobbies to start with , that is incorrect they did . Not only were they private but custom also.

I do agree that patience not patient is needed ;-)

 

For this game to survive online on consoles there must be a way to create public and private lobbies with the ability to totally customize it with regards to cars, tracks, one make or multiple models, various tuning options allowable or not. This MUST include chat and voice options and the ability to allow voice or not.

All or most of these abilities and those that I might have left out, must be done online in the lobby without restarting the lobby.

Thanks Slim, I agree with you the second part of my post was only a suggestion until we get private lobbies, I never intended for this to be the solution just a work around until we get what we all want (Private Lobbies)!

We'll get them but will have to pay an insane price for them.

Given the number of people using them now....not sure if it will be worth it $25/month or even $10.
