1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Yeah, I wouldn’t get your hopes up *too* high. Kunos are clearly a talented bunch, but writing software is hard. Hitting deadlines is even harder. That particular date was announced quite some time back and I don’t think we’ve heard anything recently saying if they’re still on track to hit it or not

Oh Kunos gods, what say you? Is the caffeine still being converted into code at the required rate?

Would they set a deadline for themselves in February, if they weren't fairly certain they can present at least something in Misano. Perhaps not everything they planned, but some kind of build. Gotta have some foundations already in February to make an announcement like that. Of course there can be unexpected setbacks, but the date disappears from the webpage probably fairly soon then. As some AC enthusiasts might arrange stuff to be at Misano.

Haven't seen any reason to be overly pessimistic really. They never released much videos until something was close to actual release, so lack of material isn't sign of anything

ACC will have the full 2018 and 2019 Blancpain gt3 roster but there are no cars or tracks even officially confirmed for the 2019 season. Its possible they already know new tracks that may be added but no work would start until its official.

As obviosuly early access isnt the finished game not until very close to release will this have all content. I highly doubt this would include any DLC's unless they planned the dlc's pre release and made them to trickle out SMS style which has never really been the Kunos model.

My guess is if there are DLC's these would be something like Blancpain gt4, intercontinental GT challenge or any other SRO series like US and Asia. But the gt3 2018/2019 seasons should be the base game.

I would be surprised if any DLC series would be worked on beyond licensing and planning until after retail release of ACC.

Looking through the SRO series theres plenty there to keep ACC going with extra content for a few years. ;)

Edit sorry for the OT but maybe we need more screens and videos.

Thank you for giving this so much attention, but basically it was just a mediocre joke :D

Yes a joke but many developers do make all content pre release then take some out of the base game for release and use it as a bit of an extra cash grab.

Exciting news! Assetto Corsa Competizione, the Officially licensed Blancpain GT Series game, will be showcased for the very FIRST TIME in public during #E3 2018 in Los Angeles at Thrustmaster’s booth.

All attendees with have the opportunity to experience Assetto Corsa Competizione in a pre-Alpha stage, using the most recent Thrustmaster products, with Ferrari and Sparco official licenses in a hotlap-based endurance race using professional simulations from California-based company VRX.

Virtual racers, thanks to Thrustmaster, will dive into Assetto Corsa Competizione feeling every single curb, since TS-XW double-belt brushless motor servo-base will be used. They will be able to test this equipment together with Ferrari F488 GT3 and Sparco P310 wheel add-ons, perfectly replicating their real counterparts, being able to win prizes.

Sparco Official, worldwide leader for motorsport equipment, will deploy its Sparco Evolve cockpits with QRT-Vs, brand new bucket seats that thanks to a patented production technology are 30% lighter than the last generation of products. Hypergrip, highly breathable and touch-sensitive sim racing gloves, will also be available for testing.

Attending E3? Share your screenshots using #ACCompetizione over on Twitter!

    See you soon at #E32018!

There's no reason to use fake brands, as we acquired the official SRO license for Blancpain GT Series and that includes all liveries with all the sponsors as they are in the real cars.

That's good to hear to read. I just remember some games where some logos were just absent on some race cars due to licensing issues so that's cool :)

Actually this is the most inclusive way of licensing racing cars, because in many cases the manufacturers don't own certain racing liveries (hence some of our "limited" or even omitted liveries in Assetto Corsa) but rather it's the racing series that holds these rights.

I guess a race over a few laps with no other cars on track. Maybe they will have some sort of contest for the person fastest over this short distance.

Blancpain sprint is 1 hour but I doubt thats how they are basing the endurance meaning in this instance. :D
