1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

i find it a struggle to get bellow 2:01's with wets. but i set my best so far, 1:59:607 ( ranked 24th) with slicks., I initially loaded the wet setup and put slicks on/adjust pressures as a base and then changed a few things. here is the setup up i have done that time with. i hope i can go a little faster with better lines/driving., i am a bit of a loose cannon :).

    Nice to hear.
Then you're ready to put slicks on ;)

With slicks, I cant get anywhere near my laptimes with wets...

Has anyone ever managed to set a best lap time on the second timed lap btw? I've done so *once*, but 99% of the times the first timed run is faster, regardless of tyre choice it seems...

I prefer slicks because if you do a very quick out lap you're going to get a mostly dry track on first timed attempt.

I'd say it's not possible a faster 2nd lap on slicks nor on wet tyres ( unless you mess the first timed lap! ).

    Second lap is always a non-starter for me, either the dry tyres are ice cold, or the wets are out of balance due to heat on the rears and cooling fronts. Makes me not even want to think about tyre choice/wear in a full race with these conditions ;-;

Haven't quite broken the 2:00 barrier yet, but only a few tenths away. Slicks are how I got there, with wets I lose about a second in pace overall, though my setup and driving style need some major adjustments; the mid and high speed corners are just awful at the moment.

It's really interesting how much practice is needed to get comfortable in these conditions, even the wet to dry hotstint doesnt feel anywhere near this difficult to manage.

Changed my own setup slightly and managed to improve by 0.003....I'm getting there...

Slight development request: in the HUD / GUI showing leaderboard when in-game/in-car, can we please get a line seperating the top three from the rest? Right now I see my name and think: "Oh, Im not that far off that Henri guy"....only thing is that I am :p

I think the game is far too easy on slicks in the wet, I got top 10 in this event by just picking aggressive setup with dry tyres.
I also tried the wet hotstint with dry tyres and had no issues lapping misano which is far wetter.
Not a hint of aquaplaning I should have been all over the place.

Managed a slight improvement down to a 2:00:3xx on slicks. Had a go with the wets but even taking it very easy on the out lap the rears are overheating by the time I start my flyer. Over a second slower.

I can join the "dry is better" party now. Just set a 2:01.2xx which currently has me ranked 145 I think, thought still some 3.2 secs off the front runners.

Lap was set using a tweaked setup based on the default aggressive setup.

Also: I've started aborting 2nd lap now. Only once have I gone faster on my second timed lap and I think it was because I kinda borked the first one :)

If you try dry tyres you need to oversteer your front tyres, lower TC to 4 and drive very aggressive warm-up Lap.
I reached 1:59:046, some place in the top10.
Need to test in the next weekend wet tyres with custom setup.
