1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Just raced a lotus 29 around and wow, what fun. One if the special events.

The car bounces around, my steering wheel feels fantastic.

Great physics. Now if that frame rate could just be upped slightly.......

But really just wanted to say I'm liking it more and more.
    It's a good game

Yup. Many people on YouTube miss the point, because all they see/comment is graphics, car/track selection... You need "hands-on" (literally) on AC to know why it is so highly acclaimed on PC.

Hope they optimize it, getting smooth 60 fps is pretty important in racing games.

yeah loving AC .. the feeling on the wheel as the car is about to loose traction is great along with the general road surface feedback .
2 night of playing and it convinced me to pick up the season pass :)
still messing with the force feedback settings for the TX wheel , cheating a bit as I have auto blip switched on as I'm not that great at heal and toe.

The down side is that I'm going to get banned from driving as it blurs the lines between reality too much and the vtec was screaming in my Integra Type R on the way to work this morning.:p

If you want to level up from that, then there's the F40 S3. Just make sure to switch tyres to semislicks. ;)

F40 is one of the hardest but very rewarding once you get the hang of it. But Lotus 98t is for me probably most challenging car in the game, especially with 100% turbos and using H-shifter. The turbo lag is just crazy

Another challenge is the SF15-T Formula 1, in the Red Pack. For different reasons, not so much how it drives, but ERS management. Wondering how they map all those controls on gamepads, on PC it takes 7 buttons from my wheel.. even without DRS and brake bias, which are 3 more. But I guess they have solution since Red Pack is promised to come for consoles too. And Maserati 250F from the same pack too.. I think Fangio and those guys had a deathwish, driving these motorized bathtubs around Sopraelevata. Driving straight is sort of a challenge already, while incredible amount of fun in the same time. Just finding that right amount of oversteer and sliding around corners

Agreed the f40 is pretty nice once you get used to it, the sounds the feel are perfect.
We need keyboard/buttonbox support asap on ps4..

Well it's laser scanned :) This pic is actually the physical mesh of Imola, but shows nicely how track surface is not flat, while it looks like pretty flat to the eye.

(Physical mesh is different from what you see, this is the one that affects your FFB and car physics, the visual mesh is "on top" of it)

In the parts where the track actually is flat, there is less data but where it counts, it's really detailed. Games that don't have laserscanned tracks, may get some key characteristics wrong, while it looks visually right. Also problem with some mod tracks, while they may look great, they are either totally flat making the FFB numb, or weird bumps that don't appear to be in IRL onboards videos.

I have been away over the weekend after receiving my copy of AC on Friday so its been a long weekend waiting to get a xhgance on track and seeing so much negativity posted about it.

Just finished my first hour with the sim and oh boy :) Took the Lotus 49 for a spin around Brands and absolltely loved it. All assists off so found it really tough to handle but what a joy to drive like that :) FFB was amazing on my TX... I had to turn everything down as it was way too strong at default but it was just brilliant to be able to feel everything the car cas doing.

Yes of course there are issues that many people are unhappy about and no private lobbies and no Time Trial leaderboards are two that surprised me but even so after this brief run out with it I'm hooked already... The driving is second to known :)
