1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I thought it would be good to have a place where server admin can discuss ideas, ask for help etc.

    my initial thought/idea is to try and implement iRacings server schedule some how. it sounds like people have tried before based on what a friend said.

    it would be great if we could have a Q server and a race server that places you on the grid according to your times from the Q server.

    I was also trying to think of a way to have races every half hour for example (like on the hour and half past CET) I was wondering if it might be possible to have the server pc auto skip to next session every 30mins, you could have races that last about 25mins and then 10mins race overtime so the server always resets at exactly 30mins.

    does anyone know if its possible or already done by someone?

    Using stracker auth it would be possible to have the qualy server and allow access to the race server for people that set laptimes under a certain time. I dont know if it could however generate an entry list or grid people as they join relative to their q time which could be an interesting idea.

    That way you could say have a shorter race start every 30 minutes and longer races every hour. With people setting a qualy time then joining races it may give them more races per hour if the servers get enough users.

    I dont know if this is possible with current stracker though but maybe @never_eat_yellow_snow1 could add this functionality if he has time and there is enough interest for this.

    it would be fantastic if its possible. id probably do 20 or 25min races in the race server and a 5min practice/warm up.

    it works really well on iracing IMO. you can Q at your leisure and as you said get more races in or longer races.

    an auto skip session feature would be relatively easy to implement I would have thought. as pointed out to me you couldnt really have Q with this feature running as no players for race start would throw it out of sync. I wonder what happens in a race only server when there are no clients in, maybe that would cause problems with keeping the races in sync with the clock as well.

    Have you looked through the stracker settings here http://n-e-y-s.de/stracker_doc

    I havent used these features yet but had minorating not come along I would be using auth from this and a qualy type server. So you can already use it to allow people access to another server but it doesnt look like you could use the qual server as a way of creating an entry list atm and so setting the grid for another server which is what your looking for.

    I havent checked that out. I dont have full access to our server but im sure those that do have had a look. even that sounds interesting. if I could fill a server with regulars I could force them to do a warm up lap and sort themselves lol. I guess if stracker knows your guid and lap time it is probably possible to do it. if the server needs to restart to update the guids in the entry list I dont know how it could work outside booking mode.

    yes this is possible using stracker auth

    But not this, unfortunately. Plugins are not (yet?) able to manipulate the grid. This is on the wishlist for Stefano, but I don't know if it is going to implemented soon. Entry list generation is possible for a single session, though (you have to copy it manually from your browser to the server though).

    As a server admin I would like to be able to restart sessions, not just skip and have to go through quali then race just to restart the practice session, also a warm up session is a must have for leagues.
