1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Server admin turn off practice session?

Noob server admin. Rented a server from Rackservice yesterday. Read all 14 pages of the 0.6 config thread in multiplayer section and didn’t see it. What’s the best way to disable practice in the event.json? Set the “P” minutes to 0 or -1 to disable? Like the RC rating in the other file? I assume I could delete the whole practice session part, but don’t want to type it back in (and screw it up) down the road.

    Thanks!

did not test but maybe if you just remove P session type from your config it should only be left with Q and R session :)

I wish we had a few more rotating and rated practice only servers especially for Monza. Like IRL track day's removes some of the ego and you can concentrate on doing own thing or link up for a little battle from time to time....

I did change our Raceonoz servers to 1 practice only server and the other to a short qualy and race format, both are SA60 atm due to low turnout in Aussie servers not needing to go too strict as yet, I have yet to see another restricted server in OZ yet ours never make the top of the lobby list. You will probably need to search for it and for euor's pings will be huge but Im sure someone there can put up a practice server too.

I was in on my own and had one guy join but then noticed he got DQ for track cutting lol, wondered how that was possible in a practice only server so checked the replay. As he was more then 3 seconds off the pace seems he thought he could find this taking the Monza 66 line through the first chicane.

Cheers Marty, I'll give it burl :)

I reckon most drivers would be 3+ seconds off your pace even when they stay between the lines
