1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Someone is using speed hacking?

    I've seen people cheat by cutting and pitting but have yet to see anyone with more speed when I drive obviously no better.

    Not saying it's impossible as if someone really wanted them to be able to hack or cheat anything with x8 speeder techbigs. It is very unlikely that a better driver will use such cheats and those who do so stand out on bad track and fast laps.

    The funny thing is I have won most of the online races but the ones I like the most I don't.

    I met a couple of guys using sort of hacks lately. One of these was pretty funny: I was ahead of this guy in a race. At every lap, his laptimes were slower than mine, but the gap was consistently reduced.
    This means that not only he could hack the car performance, but he could even cheat the server, making it register laptimes slower by a couple of seconds from the real laptimes he was driving.
    I noticed the thing keeping an eye on both his laptimes and the gap, I then called the loser out and he left before the next race.
    I met the identical cheat by a different guy the night after, he left too after being called out. I did meet him again but he wasn't using this hack anymore. It happens, not a big deal tho.

    Olivetti, did you reported again this kind of situation? We get an identical scenario in a Brazilian league. Lap times slower, but the gap decreases.

    no, I didn't report.
    We were in a public server. The guy left after being called out and I never met him again.
    I don't think I saved a replay, but I will check next week when I'll be back home..

    People are being accused of using speed cheating in a league in Brazil. We have to get some answer from KUNOS about these cases. People can be blamed or not, only Kunos can give us those answers! This is very important for us, but it is more important for the credibility of the Kunos product.

    there was a situation here in a league in brazil, where the driver did not turn in the race time in 1: 26.3 and the leader turned 124: 1 in the same lap, even so he managed to overtake, and another at the end of the race the name of the driver was not generated in the race results log files ...

    To be honest I don't care about cheats.
    There's anti-cheat tools that can be used by Leagues. There are blacklists that can be used in public servers. The rest is up to admins and users.
    I prefere that Kunos guys keep using their time to make cars that drive great. They have limited time. Why should they care about some stupid kids who just like to ruin it to others? They have provided tools (eg. server blacklist) that just need to be set up and used.
