1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Does anyone know how running on these servers will affect our Safety rating, in that these are generally 0/0 sessions which could be ageing off higher scoring sessions? @Minolin any chance ratings can be switched off on theses if it’s going to have a negative impact?

What happens on these servers that would negatively affect your rating? Haven’t run on one myself yet

Only that you’re gathering sessions of no value i.e. 0/0 Trust/OBWP so if these are replacing higher scoring sessions your overall Trust/OBWP ratio may go down if better sessions are being replaced.

We have a hotlap server thats been running for over a year, so I get a few unrated sessions. I hate to assume :p but would think it only calculates last x amount of combat km.

If your not in combat that session shouldnt replace past calculated sessions. If it does this should be addressed but I still have 99SA with not many races per week and many sessions with low combat. Maybe sessions with 0PBWP amd trust shouldnt even be displayed in the SA history.

Even a longer league race that may be an awesome battle if your 1 to 2 seconds ahead and behind traffic running flat out you get very little trust score. If I run a few races from the back of the field this will build up massively. If you start up front and get away you can get nearly nothing in a 1 or 2 hr race but there is some post race bonus.

I still dont think it has a negative impact on ratings and if it does then 99SA is still way too easy to get and keep. ;)

Our league race last night at Silverstone with no ghosting, full manual formation lap and not a full pro or elite sim racer field was fine. We even made it 90 minutes to force a pit stop with a 65 minute stint limit. These "elite drivers" supposedly couldnt handle any of that stuff. :p

Maybe the organisers can give the drivers more credit and turn off the arcade ghost features in all future races. Even in a warmup lap surely its not that hard to avoid running into others especially if they are the best of the best.

Hi guys, one question. I am trying to register for AM, but Steam ID said it can't be more than 17 characters. Basically, i am copying the one with prefix "STEAM_" but it has too much characters.

Should i remove the STEAM_ or...? How did you do the reg? There is three Steam ID's, which one did you use?

    Thanks in advance!

    @pankykapus

  8. You have to use SteamID64.

Having a lot of these connection issues lately too, since past week. Before the server list would get populated quickly, now 7 out of 10 times I have to restart the game and hope for the best. Something weird going on there.

From the starting point of the Aggressive setup can anyone give me some advice how to get/feel some more front end grip with the Lamborghini? Or alternatively how to make me 3 secs faster at Spa :p.

Stiffer front bump and stiffer rear rebound.

The BMWs were too slow .... both pro drivers and fast sim racers too. Is a BOP change coming?

Completely agree! To ghost on the first lap - (why, they're professionals!!??) - then damage on on the second lap only meant carnage on the second lap anyway. I can imagine it must of felt slightly bonkers too charging down the Hanger Straight looking out into someone else's roll cage. Please turn all that off and get the Pros to race how its meant to be. If they can't cope with that, too bad.
