1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Supreme FX audio chip quality

I have a Z270 Asus Mobo Maximus IX Hero and it has Supreme FX.
I am currently using it with the settings of the pics I attached. It sounds ok but I think it has too much distortion generated by the Asus software (compared with my old mobo which has default Realtek drivers).
An example is, if I use the amplify level in "performance" instead "extreme" the volume is too damn low.
I want to know some advice of other Supreme FX users to make Assetto sounds better in my Siberia V2 Headphones.

Try getting rid of all the add-on FX (sMart Volume, Voice clarity, etc.) and see if that helps .

    Good sound recipe:

    - good hardware DAC (soundcard or receiver)
    - good headphones/speakers
    - HRTF like Dolby Headphones or similar
    - activate where applicable 5.1, 7.1 or higher for HRTF (usually in Windows sound configuration)
    - tune reverb to your liking
    - equalizer to your liking
    - most other effects are crap

When I setup this rig I used things that came with the Dvd of the Mobo and for some reason audio was always bad. Imagine if you put a speaker inside a closed box. Just like that. I went to the Asus site today after posting here and I saw a new driver available but after installation, Sonic Studio and Sonic Radar was missing and something was still bad too. Then I got rid of everything and reinstalled the driver from scratch via setup.exe (not asus_setup.exe) and finally seems everything is working nice! Without the need of Sonic Studio be activated. Thx for the help. I took note of what you mentioned @Timberwind

Isn't supreme Fx just Realtek audio chip with slightly nicer capacitors and a bunch of extra software?

Yes it is. What I still think, even after I get it working properly is, somehow, the regular Realtek chip I have in the older MB is better than this one. The software part is a plus that don't exactly bump the quality of the sound. It enhances some features but distorting the pure sound too much.
My old Realtek chip with a modded Sound Blaster software sounded way better than this Supreme FX bundle I got now. Even the old Realtek default was better. Louder and clearer sound imo.

Maybe try uninstalling all sound related software and try installing just the Realtek drivers from the Realtek site
