Hey all. I have a simple question, what does TCC or TC2 mean?

Traction Control Control and Traction Control 2, which is vastly superior to the measly Traction Control 1

I'm suprised there's no thread about the Ferrari yet, especially since it seems to have a different TC system than the other cars

Ferrari has two traction control systems. One is the standard traction control (i believe its TC1) that limits wheel slip. The second traction control (TC2) is more of a rotational slip limiter. Think of it as dynamic stability control. It is supposed to help keep yaw in check.

In iRacing we have these settings too. Although, it will help prevent spins/slides it can also make it harder to recover from one depending upon how you set it. Lots of tuning here.

  5. Putting it in a very simplistic way: TCC to control spinning on straights, TC2 to control slipping while cornering.

EDIT: tlsmikey already gave a good answered before i could see it. :)

    Found this statement
    Improved traction control
These two manettinos regulate the two phases of traction control, meaning they work independently on when and how the intervention activation occurs. The right-hand manettino (TC1) governs ‘when’, in other words the point of intervention under acceleration. The left-hand one (TC2) instead governs ‘how’, controlling the degree of intensity of torque reduction as it senses the rear wheels spin.

I had a go at changing the setting and yeah if you get it backwards as I did the first time you just spin out but I ended up with a setting both at 3 and was happy with it.

@Aristotelis - "Driver and engineers feedback suggest that you go on par for both TCs. i.e. TC1 @3 and TC2@3 +/- 1 . Don't try exaggerated values like TC1=2 and TC2=10. It will be confusing and won't work as intended."

How will this work when making TC changes whilst racing? Will we be given TC2 adjustment also?

You can already assign buttons for both TC, what is your question?

They do different things. TC1 ain't better than 2 and viceversa
