1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Something seems wrong here. My Max is lower than the average in the first post?

Testing at Epic @ 1080p. No VSync Framelimiter. Driver version 20.5.1

Ok made a mistake as I was running the general benchmark with opponents instead of a Hot Lap. New results are much better:

    Avg: 112.617 - Min: 103 - Max: 128

These were wrong as well. Not sure what I did, maybe not a hot lap.

These are correct and more in line with the rest:

Benchmarked my current setup before I upgrade my GPU.

    MSI Airboost Vega 56 (Undervolted & OC'd)
    Ryzen 5 3600
    16GB DDR4 3200MHz
Latest version of ACC (updated just before benchmarking)
AMD drivers 19.10.2 (I find the older drivers better for performance with Vega)

I'll update the results with the 5700XT when I get it later this week hopefully - should be good for comparrison sakes.

So I got the new card today and installed with latest AMD drivers (20.7.2)
All I've done so far is raise power limit by 50% and set a custom fan curve.

Very happy with the gains already. AMD seems to be working better with UE4.

That would be a huge improvement of the 5700 cards. I wonder if anyone can reproduce it, because it does seem to be rather optimistic.

    It is repeatable on my system. Following on from that I ran a second test after I undervolted the card for better temps and got the following;

    2020-07-29 19:41:36 - AC2-Win64-Shipping
    Frames: 6306 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 105.100 - Min: 81 - Max: 150

Granted slightly worse performance but negligible loss in favour of better temps. I have yet to dial in my card but I've seen better performance for VR which was my main reason for the upgrade.

EDIT: Guys I'm sorry, I never noticed the rain setting! I'll have to retest, expect real results later.

So the rain doesn't seem to affect performance here. With the Epic preset, 1080p, heavy rain and wipers on I get the following:

    Frames: 6356 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 105.933 - Min: 83 - Max: 150

Would like to hear from anyone with similar setups.

Well, yesterday I tried the benchmark again, this time with build 1.5.3 and drivers 20.7.2. Results were similar to what they were:

    2020-07-31 23:44:42 - AC2-Win64-Shipping
    Frames: 5043 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 84.050 - Min: 63 - Max: 123

Mind though that mine is a non-XT (but flashed with an XT bios), and with my settings (8+ power, undervolt 1140) staying below 90 celsius junction, don't want it to go hotter than that, especially for long periods of play, which you tend to do with ACC. But even if I let it go above 100 C., I wouldn't come close to your results. Strange thing is that my results are about on par with the XT-results in this thread, other than yours. Can't be the cpu or memory, because they are the same as yours (Ryzen 3600 running at 4200, XMP-profile for the 16gb 3200 memory).

So maybe they gave you a 'Big Navi' by mistake. ;)

I don't know what's going on but I do know for sure I'm no a secret Big Navi tester :( see CPU-Z screen.

Unless my testing is still flawed but I'm running a Hotlap session at Nurbergring in Heavy Rain at 21:00, 2018 Huracan GT3 wipers and lights on, view settings reset, starting the benchmark as the session starts and driving for 1 minute until the benchmark ends.

Latest results after some tweaks in Radeon Software and using a custom engine ini file for better VR performance.

That Big Navi-thing was just a joke, of course you don't have one (yet). ;)

I can only congratulate you with the results, and I am basically just interested what is going on, technically. (Which doesn't mean I wouldn't welcome some more performance in ACC , AMD/ACC still seems to underperform). But nobody has retested with a (real) XT-card to confirm your results, so it is a bit of a mystery. Unless they have somehow changed/improved the 5700 cards over time, I don't have an explanation.

From my end I can only think that maybe my monitor lowers the results, because it is an 1440p ultrawide (of course tested with a 1080p resolution), but my initial results (februari I think), which were roughly the same as they are now, were done on a 1080p 24 inch monitor. So that probably isn't it. Annoying btw that when I use the testing settings, I don't know what files to save to put the original settings back. I now copy the entire config folder in documents, put it back after testing, but the graphics setting don't come back, so I have to adjust again by hand. Never mind though, just a small problem.

Anyway, I love a good mystery. Maybe someday it will be solved. For now, enjoy your XT!

I would really like to believe these are the correct results for your setup but I think something is set incorrectly. I have an almost identical setup (3600 and Sapphire 5700XT) and average 88fps, which is comparable to many others with similar systems. Just check my results a few posts before.

I did once get 100+ fps average but that was a fluke and I’m not entirely sure what caused it.
