1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    sadly yes.
when you only had one running profile its absolut no problem but my ETS2/ATS addiction... ;)

With TrackIR it is as if the normal non-track ir view has not been disabled. If I move the pro clip out of view, in every other TrackIR compatible app, the view will remain at the orientation it was when it lost tracking. With ACC, it just reverts to the normal view. I thin kthe normal view is being rendered along with the TrackIR orientation view (or alternating between them). This means that the problem is squarely with ACC and not TrackIR software. It also means it is a bizzare bug that cannot have been tested before being pushed out.

The only way is to manually have two menuSettings.jon files found here (C:\Users\XXX\Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Config\menuSettings.json) however a file swap method is dangerous as the video settings are at the end of all your other UI menu settings therefore I would just copy & paste over the applicable video settings. Like you I was hopeful that we could have a UI option to load & save GFX settings as I think this would be useful to have profiles for VR, TackIR, SP Practice, SP low AI, SP High AI, MP etc... however I do not think we will see anything like that soon or at all in the future. Who knows though...

Just sharing my experience with eye tracking here, in case it helps anyone.

I don't have a TrackIR device but do have a Tobii 4C Eye Tracker; by using FaceTrackNoIR this device can emulate TrackIR and should work with any games that support TrackIR. So I gave it a try with ACC and my initial experience was a horrific flickering/ghosting mess - but I could see underneath this mess that the eye tracking was actually working. After much fiddling around with ACC settings I found that capping my frame rate at 60FPS completely stopped* the flickering, this setting is somewhere near the bottom of the ACC gfx settings.

After that, I played around with the tracking curves in FaceTrackNoIR and have got something that works pretty well - at least I'm happy with it :). I do own an Oculus Rift S but I'm not having much luck with that in ACC so this is a decent plan B.

Here's a short clip of it in action. I left the "gaze overlay" on for the video, but would normally have it disabled since it's distracting!

    * only had time for a quick test at Spa, so I can't confirm yet if all tracks are flicker-free!

Try capping your FPS in ACC to 60fps. This worked for me and I'm also using a G-sync monitor (144hz)

I can confirm, after changing refresh rate to 60 hz , flickering is gone.
So, something to do with the higher refresh rate.
Hope Kunos can look into this issue.
    Thx.

    Ter info:
The higher the FPS the more Flicker.
I just started a race on max settings with 120 hz and fps was arround 60, No Flicker. After that a hotlap on arround 110 FPS , flicker is back.

The next public beta will include a potential fix to the flickering issues (and also the incorrect axis translations), so please check and report back when it goes out (hopefully later today).

I'm pretty sure you guys will have it all sorted out, soon and so I just ordered a wired TrackHat + Camera Kit. At ~70 €, that should be a very good value immersion upgrade and a great alternative for people who don't like VR. I can't wait to try it.

Thanks @pankykapus great news about the fix.

And something for the future if you have have the bandwidth: adding native support for Tobii Eye Tracking. This is already in F1 2018/19, ATS/ETS2 and PC2. Some info for developers is on the Tobii website here: https://developer.tobii.com/pc-gaming/

Thank you so much for TrackIR now in ACC!

But i have a problem with the X-axis (actually inverted Y). Only movement to the right works. (OpenTrack + custom device)

FWIW Beta is validation by users, not users doing the quality department's job. If you want to get picky about it, this is not Beta. This is feature incomplete, untested and pretty much about as Alpha as Alpha can get.

On my system, only Pitch and Yaw work. It appears non of the other axis have been implemented and do random things.

I guess u missed the notification by Kunos that they said this is an "initial" version, they have stated its a work in progress.
A beta is not a final version, else why put it in a beta??
Its unfortunate u got those issues, roll for instance doesnt work for me properly as well. But they will improve things like u already can see in this thread.

Wouldn't disagree with that. For me it works near flawlessly, for others it doesn't. I'd say in it's current implementation is in a fine state for beta testing with users.

Actually, that's exactly what it is. It's a beta branch.
