1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I can see ACC succeeding if they have amazing VR support and optimization but that’s not happening right now. In fact it’s quite the opposite. VR is really poorly optimized and the mirrors are killing it.

I need triples but I’m willing to tolerate this sim if the VR is top notch. Right now I don’t have either so I’m not going to be playing much.

Hello, a little bit offtopic but does ACC support ultrawide 21:9? thanks.

    If I had a choice I’d go 32:9

I run triples. Is 32:9 a real alternative, means nearly no distortions? Then it would be interesting.

Nearly. I mean, the rear view mirrors even on a triple in ACC are nearly useless, so you might as well not see them, and it would reduce the incorrect sense of warp speed.
What I would like to see, as a triple screen user, is the ability to set a custom resolution that matches 32:9.

Before buying another monitor solution (single superwide) to replace your triple screen setup, you may have a look at a more flexible monitor mounting system that allows you to easily change your angled triple screen setup to a there screen setup with all screens on the same plane (or better angled at a small angle, similar to what curved superwide monitors are attempting).

The effect is the same as using a single superwide screen (plus the bezels of the triple screens obviously).

The stretched images on your side screens only are there as a product of the sides being angled towards you.

With such a three screen setup you could move the screens as close to your wheel as possible and scale the cockpit view properly so you are able to see your mirrors.

If you can live with the bezels of your triples in a relatively small angled setup this may be a better solution than a single superwide seeing as you have the screens already.

I for myself do not change my setup for ACC - it works fantastic with my major simracing app (AC) and I currently "make do" with ACC not being able to see my mirrors properly. It definitely is a big compromise but then again I am not racing ACC much beyond a little online racing among friends.

I don't think anybody should be investing in hardware at this point. If Kunos don't have a triple solution by final release then think about new hardware, no one has said triples definitely isn't coming so you'd be buying a monitor to play on for a few months only to move back to triples again.

Ultra wide will never be an option in my opinion, even Raceroom has implemented triple support,
the monitor itself looks good, but the proportions in cockpit is just crazy (random internet picture).

I'll wait for triples, when (if) it's implemented the overall status of ACC will be close to a final product as well.

(and yes, I suspect some trolling is going on here as well)

The FOV in that picture looks wrong to me. Nonetheless, even with proper fov it is incredible stretched so doesn’t work as well.
As long as you can rely on the radar and the virtual mirror it should be just about ok though.

    Let’s wait and see.

  17. @AC Support reading the instructions from nDisplay, it seems to work with only one PC with multiple screens, too.

This release adds several new features that make the nDisplay multi-display rendering system more flexible, handling new kinds of hardware configurations and inputs.

    • Each cluster node’s application window can now contain multiple viewports at defined screen-space coordinates. This allows a single Unreal Engine instance, running on a single computer, to handle multiple offset displays.

You do realize there's not just 1 version of the Unreal engine right ? And at some point a Dev has to pick a Version number to build their game from.....now ask yourself which version is ACC currently built on......

  20. guys I would like to ask you a few questions since I love 3s:
    - I saw a 3s acc video and it looked good.
Can you tell what changes with support?
    - what minimum hardware is required to run a 1080p equivalent in 3s?
    - is 21" Good for 3s? maybe 24?
Thank you a lot. I'm new to this.
