1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I see some people have a bit of hassle switching between surround mode and 3 separate monitors (let's just call it "desktop mode" for now). I did too for a while. But then I found a solution by combining some things I found online.

Long story short, I now switch between the two modes in less than 1o seconds. Yes that's right, 1o seconds, and you don't have to fiddle with the NV control panel to do it. All it takes are two scripts, one for activating surround and one for deactivating it.

I can post this solution here if anyone is interested. Btw, I found these scripts on the web, so I can't really take credit for them. But they work perfectly on my setup.

Note: This is for nVidia cards only and you need to install AutoHotkey: https://autohotkey.com/download/

Sounds good Whitestar! Yes please share, i'd love to try it. So 3 screen mode as opposed to surround 'desktop mode' yields better graphics performance with regards to ACC as it doesn't work the GPU as hard?

Hmmm, what I meant was surround mode (where your 3 physical screens are treated as one virtual screen) as opposed to desktop mode** (where your 3 physical screens are treated as just that, 3 screens).
I don't know which of the modes yields better performance, but since panky said above that it's meant to be run in surround mode then that's what I'll use.

To be extra clear; my solution is only for switching fast between these two modes, nothing else. I'll post it when I get home. :)

**I suppose it could also be called "multi monitor mode", since the 3 monitors are treated as 3 monitors, as opposed to surround mode where they are treated as one monitor.

Nvidia Surround is very inconvenient for everyday use and work. I have 3 QHD monitors 144 Hz. But 2 of them are Acer and one Asus. NS does not support 144 Hz for them, only 100 Hz. And switching modes for my monitors is not just a waste of time, but a reset of resolutions and frequencies, sometimes a complete freeze of a computer - NS, pure pain. In addition, triple in windowed mode is available to any user, regardless of the manufacturer of the video card.

  5. Yes i understand. Ok, I realised i was running the Studio Driver and not the Game Ready Driver! So my triple screen FPS now with optimised driver went from 40 to 60, which is good, but still well short of the 80 to 100 i'm used to. I feel an updated Nvidia card coming on!

Yes, i think that only reason NOT to use Surround Mode is that if you cannot do Surround Mode over 60 hz and you like to do over 60 hz. Then you need to fiddle with these "workarounds" mentioned earlier.

For example, I've never managed to get Surround mode working over 60hz on my setup where i have different center monitor than side monitors. Though they are same brand, same res, same refresh rate, but center monitor is "next generation" compared to side monitors.

what I was doing with my 1080Ti is to have another video output from the card to say 2nd HDMI port on my center monitor.
so when I am gaming, using NVIDIA surround on my triples and then through Windows key+P switching display mode to this center monitor only as "desktop" use

with the 60hz limitation, if I understand your concern, I thought I had this issue as well despite my 3 Freesync monitors being 75Hz max refresh rate. But again going through Windows Display advanced settings and forcing 75Hz refresh rates on the 3 monitors individually and recreating Surround single display did the trick, gaming at 75Hz was possible

I've tried Internet autohotkey scripts but never worked for me (aparently because I use the localized drivers). Now I use Helios Display Management and two clicks do the trick and Its open source.

    https://github.com/falahati/HeliosDisplayManagement

It's a pity, because the project seems to be a little bit dead, but for me still does the job, because also support profiles, for exaple, "destok mode" "Surround with bezzel correction" "Sorround without bezzel).

OK....it finally happened... :):):)... Thank you Kunos for adding proper triple screen support.
Reinstalled a little while ago, entered the right settings and I can now enjoy ACC.
On my system pretty heavy though (alone on track and every video setting at medium I get about 65 fps. Enough to enjoy hot lapping.
Recent updates also changed the overall view, much better than it used to be (when I shelved ACC in anticipation for triple support - if ever).
So, overall I'm pretty happy with this atm... :D

Sounds like you've been trying one that was posted on hardforum.com. The ones I use are based on that but don't require English drivers AFAIK.

HDM works fine but takes far too long to switch screens for my taste.

I have attached the scripts. Hope they work as well for you guys as they do for me. :)

Note: Some users get this error: "Error: Nvidia Surround could not be enabled!", but say that it still works.
So if you keep getting that warning but still get surround mode activated then you can just comment out the line that puts the message on the screen. In other words, put a semicolon in front of "MsgBox" under "SurroundFail:" at the very bottom of the Enable Surround script.

I figured out why the sides monitors look a bit warped, and the sides were moving fast. I still had a VR parameters enabled in the shortcut. But with that fixed, everything runs fine. Thanks for the triple support, I hope to return back to VR at some point :)

I also use Helios to switch between Surround and Desktop mode, but it usually only works for me when going from Surround back to desktop. Switching to Surround Mode doesn't work for me, Helios isn't able to activate Surround. Do you use only three monitors or do you have a forth monitor for your desktop and three sepereate for racing, because I think that may be my issue?

I have my TV connected to the HDMI output on my 1080ti, and my 3 monitors connected to the displayports. So I'm also using 4 displays. And both HDM and the scripts I posted above work just fine, so that shouldn't be an issue.
You could try the scripts and see if those work for you.

I'll try the scripts tonight. I never knew Autohotkey can be used to switch to NV Surround. Good to see that it works for others with 4 Monitors, that means there is a local issue that can be solved. Thanks :)

I "only" have three screens. BTW I had similar problem after a driver update. Deleting profiles and recreated again did the job for me.

Edit: Perhaps I reinstalled HDM I'm not sure right now.
