1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory.
  2. FOR ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE: If you report issues with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder!
  3. If your game executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, then run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether.

  3. According to FB page was going to submission stage on 14 Apr. Judging on how long submission took for Project Cars when that first came out id go with a week on Tuesday (2 May)- that's providing it gets through Microsoft's testing without any snags

  4. Thanks for the quick reply. I've been tempted to buy again on PC, but I don't want to drag my chair and wheel away from my big TV.

  5. Well it's on sale on PC if that's going to sway you pal. Next update should make a huge difference for the better for online on consoles.[IMG]

  6. Did not know that...now even more tempted. But, still prefer driving with the 70" screen. PC would allow me to use Oculus Rift, but tried that with the free PCars version and still preferred the big screen.

You can't connect your PC to your 70" screen? Best of both worlds ;)

  8. That would involve some significant reorganization, but yeah, that would be ideal. Maybe some day, but for now it has to stay where it is for work and Rift duty.

To each their own, but... AC on PC is so far superior to the console version in literally every single way. Why would you choose AC on console over PC, and choose to play it on a TV with (I assume) a lower refresh rate and higher response time compared to a monitor? Unless your PC monitor is like a crappy old 12" LCD or something, then maybe... :D

  10. I don't doubt for a minute that AC is better on PC.

However, I left PC gaming many, many years ago for the simplicity, comfort and cost of gaming from the console and couch. Only with the release of the Oculus Rift have I now re-entered the gaming PC market. I have plenty of power to run AC on the PC and even in VR. While my PC monitors are somewhere in the low to mid-range (dual 25" 1080p), I'm still not willing to make the small screens and my desk my primary gaming space.

I can chase speed and specs all day long, or I can just enjoy gaming..

Yeah, if your computer space isn't exactly a comfortable gaming space, I can see that. I'd be stoked for AC in VR though!
