Generic Update v 1.14 Launches on PlayStation 4 TOMORROW! (May 17th)

Everything about the update is fantastic. And the game seems more polished (physics and frame rate especially)
Loving the 787b. But noticed 2 different RENOWN liveries. One orange and one red. This maybe due to the fact that the real car was fluorescent orange so you have your choice, because impossible to recreate fluorescent colours for a game!
Kunos. Could you please do the same for the 917k. And give the option to have the correct orange alongside red on the powder blue cars!!?!!

The new cars are great. The off throttle sound on the Audi Quattro sounds like towing an empty trash can behind the car though, I think it needs toning down a little.

 

That would be nice.the Gt40 has the same colours and they are well done.maybe its has something related to Porsche itself?

 

To me, the framerate in replays still feels like before the update. I do not think they have worked on that problem at all.

 

In hindsight I should have taken the rest of the week off damnit!

 

Incredible to drive with Abarth, Gt3, Lmp1 and F1 cars, all togheter

 

Has this game not been updated since May -17? Screentearing and lagging is alright? Well, some can do this right....

 

It was updated on October for the Ferrari Pack and on September for the RTR pack. They have a very slow development on consoles, much more than it should be... but it's more than fair to say that the update of September was huge.

That you say May shows you dont play much the game.

 

We're on 1.16 patch now. There shouldn't be any screentearing on 1.14, those days are gone. I'm running it on ps4 pro however with boost mode enabled.

 

Dont know where I can see if I have 1.16, but replays are just awfull to watch. That is why I do not play this game much.

 

Not agree they are awful. The "only" problem for me is that you cant record much. But you have very good slow motion options, all kind of cameras, "60 fps", flawless exterior cameras sound...

The replays of PCars2 for example are, indeed, awful. Painful to watch as they run on 30 fps, very low graphic detail and the sound is just completely broken.

GT Sport is the king in this matter IMO. 30 fps on the PS4 base, but improved graphic detail and (I believe) endless record time.

 

If you have PS4 you need to brifely get out of game, highlight it and click option button, there will be a bunch of options where you can see what version of game you're on

 

Yes, the replays in GT Sport are nice. For me, 30 fps without lagging is better than 60 fps with lots of "stuttering" cars. And yes, the slow motion function is awsome!
