The Challenge.
Car: Lotus Exige V6 Cup
Track: Brands Hatch GP





Adding lightness the Lotus philosophy and with this car 60 odd kilos is saved from the already svelte Exige, it is a sweet handling thing, you get a little more adjustment above the usual camber toe and tyre pressures in the form of 2 way adjustable dampers to help adjust it to your taste. Electronics wise you get 4 position traction control to adjust slip, yes it will spin it's wheels at corner exit

Brands Hatch GP, great track, with some truly epic corners, Paddock Hill is tricky to get right and you need to focus on Surtees as it leads to the fastest part of the circuit!

Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
Setup: Free
Controller: Free
Assists: Factory
Stability:Free
Penalties: On <--- Only applicable to Practice mode.

Please make sure you have the ambient temperature set correctly, I really don't like disallowing times!

The Deadline.
Sunday February 12th - 22:00 GMT

How to take part!
To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap / Practice choose the Lotus Exige V6 Cup and head to Brands Hatch GP Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track!

You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature.


Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

You also need to state the time and your platform in the body of your post, this should be the first thing you do, the image should then be placed below the text. This makes collating the results much easier.

Great car, great track, but i'm fighting with them both. A 1:37.xxx should be possible for me and this setup, but not today. And while my computer is uploading that video to youtube, i'll upload myself to my bed.

Slowly getting the hang of it, I guess. It's nice when you get the tail hung out just that right amount but more often than not they run me out of town on the Understeer Express.

 

This looks like fun combo. I like
The track very much, in GT3 cars this track is challenging AF, pushes you to be consistent all the time, middle part is the key one. Didt drive Lotus tbh, only in few events but this will definitely be a fun one to try.
