1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hey guys!

    I've been very absent in the last days,and i dont see myself coming here too often in the next 2 days - and forget about setting a laptime! I can't do much more than just a few days on sunday morning to try out combos :confused:

    I've did a bit of light reading in the comments,it seems that a couple of nice sugestions for the WHL have been posted,i'll try to read them better and try them in the future ;)

    This is a great race car! It’s what I think a race car should be - barely controllable power, so point and shoot and hope you hit the apex. Rbr is a point and shoot track, so it’s a good combo. This car shows you that driving fast is an art form and proves that racing drivers have big cahones and mad skills compared to the average commuter.

    As @Andy-R and @Pretend racer have previously mentioned, this combo really stresses how well you can aim and hit apexes and get back under power quickly and smoothly. I know I can do better, but it's been rather punishing to find these extra tenths. One day I'll get this V8 bull around the Nordschleife at pace, seeing that it's one of just a handful of cars I haven't lapped the track successfully with...

    Not sure exactly how my friend set this car up, but I do know this attempt was on softs with a low fuel setting and some adjustments to the differentials, toe, and aero.

    Just had a quick half hour before the F1 starts and failed to improve. Just can’t seem to find any more time anywhere.
    Really enjoyed this combo Hugo and the power of this car is amazing. Absolutely love the faster stuff.
    Well done to Andy R with an outstanding 1:22 wow!!! How the hell do you get that good!!

    Nope sorry, just checked and I didn't save it I'm afraid. I don't think there was anything particularly special about it TBH, I didn't do many laps (8 valid & 7 invalid/restarts, according to RSR.)

    How deep are you braking into turns 2,3 and 7? I've noticed I may be coming off the brakes a bit too soon and that might be due to not braking late enough.

    I don't really know without a video is the simple answer. I guess I was braking a little before that bridge for T2, I remember I decided to start braking before I straighten the wheel from that left kink because running too deep there and not making the apex will lose a lot of time. T3 IIRC I started braking at or just before the skid marks, again it is easy to carry too much speed and miss the entry so I would prefer to brake a little too much than too little. I think you mean T6 (based on the map I'm looking at) as T7 is a flat out right, T6 I guess end of the curb or start of the skid marks... I can't really remember I'm afraid :(

    @Andy-R you made a very interesting suggestion,i liked it.I had thought of something similar actually,my ideia was to (re)create rivalries in the challenges,like say the sauber c9 vs the Porsche 962,GT3 cars pitted against eachother,stuff like that
