1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    You're welcome, but don't improve too much!

    Eau Rouge and Raidillon are tricky. I get it wrong more times than not.

    Sector 1 is my best sector (like most tracks). Probably because I complete sector 1 more times than the others. I really must stop restarting when I spin off. I'm losing 1.5 seconds in sector 2 compared to the fastest time on RSR, and nearly a second in sector 3. I have a faster lap where I have improved a little, but I'm still 1.9 seconds off the pace with my combined sectors 2 and 3 time.

    Gotcha. I was taking 4th into rouge at 115 mph no wonder! Also a great help on the 2 long left handers struggle to keep it on track there. Will have another shot later.. cheers for the guidance:)

    I’d love a good set up for this car (wink wink!! )

    Had to delete the game and cloud saves again coz I was sick of only being able to save 1 setup in the game. All fixed now but no setup.
    For some reason I can’t see Pctm’s file for the setup phone or iPad won’t show it.

    The3ws... your on another level now mate.
    On your vid your foot work is so smooth, specially your braking.
    How you roll off the pedal is so good.
    I definitely need to practice that instead of just stamping on it and then lifting my foot straight off it.

    Thanks, Lewis. It's something I've been working on, trailbraking into the corner. I'm getting better at it, but I still have problems when using small amounts of pressure because it's difficult to feel how much pressure I'm applying. Sometimes I think I've done it perfectly, keeping 2-5% of pressure on the brake to help the front end grip. Then I watch the replay and find out I wasn't even on the brake.

    Here's my setup. A word of warning, I'm not an expert. I've read a few guides, watched a few videos. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, so use it at your own risk.

    Limiter = 12 Brake bias = 55 Brake power = 100 Fuel = 10
    Final gear ratio = 5.1428 (currently, the individual gears are at default) Diff power = 20 Diff coast = 60 Diff pre-load = 25
    Pressure = 20, 20, 18, 18 Camber = -2.1, -2.1, -2, -2 Toe = 26, 26, 27, 27 Height = 12, 12, 0, 0 Springs = 18, 18, 40, 40 ARB = 9, 1
    Bump = 4, 4, 2, 2 Rebound = 6, 6, 5, 5

    Back from a quick golfing break to find a Lotus 49 challange - cool. I had never driven this car in Assetto, just PC2, fabulously wild.

    Anyhow, first few laps produced an average pace, must learn to set a car up for these events, but plenty of smiles. Really hope I get the time to go again!
