1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    For my best lap I used the middle final gear, 3.2000, with Set 2.
    This evening I've been trying the shortest final gear with Set 1 and just using four gears, which I think might be the best option. A few early beers means I can't string a decent lap together though.

    What transmission combi are you using Lewis?:)

    Ugggh. I am amazed there are any left it so hard to drive ! Drive the wheels off it and finally got a lap without crashing. It runs wide so easy. No downforce . No abs. No tc. It’s a death trap!

    Anyway chaos Chris posting a 2.14.947. And I doubt I can get more outta this. [​IMG]. Congratulations to those with some skill who can slide it round!

    I’m trying all gearing available yet I’m still not sure which is best.
    I think i used 3.7000 and only using 4 gears yesterday, which got me 157mph on the long straight
    I’ll check as soon as I get chance to confirm.

    This is Assetto Corsa. Not easy. Not accessible. The Dark Souls of driving games.

    Complete the challenge though and feel the reward.

    I haven't got the finesse to trouble the leaderboard.

    I did go all the way up the hill with the back stepped slightly out and a constant angle on counter steer. Throttle looking after the rest.

    That'll do, Donkey. That'll do.

    157mph!!!! Whoa...that is fast. I can only manage high 140's regardless of gear ratio. That means my entry onto the straight off the last turn is not what it should be. This track really requires such focus on proper execution of the various turn sequences. A great challenge and a chance to develop skills to match the 2:07's. Out of desperation...I thought I might have missed a variable turbo boost control setting on this car !:D

    Yellow car is faster by 1/4 second...;) hehe. I am getting some green numbers in the first sector but losing time in the middle and then getting some back at the end. It is coming along. Thx for info on gear ratios and track tips @Lewisxbone...most helpful.
