1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I love this track, its damn near one of the best for hotlapping. The car, well not one of my fav's. I used a tune from the setup market by a guy with a bunch of numbers for a name. I adjusted fuel, and psi to suit. I can post the vid of the lap I did, but I expect that a faster lap will be posted soon.

@Totall Wrytoff I'm not sure if you know this but UPS sucks, a lot! I refuse to use them or any other "private" company for international deliveries. I refuse to pay brokerage fees. Since I live out in the boonies they won't deliver to my PO box anyways. Which means I have to drive 50 km to the nearest depot, and I have to get there during working hours which is impossible for me. Like I said I refuse to use UPS cause they suck. (sorry rant over)

Looking forward to a pic of your new cockpit once you get it all setup!

Yikes..power is out in London town....good thing you didn't go! The first thing I did today was check the thread to see what your package contained! :) So excited to see new gear!
Well, I am pretty stoked to be within about 1 sec or so from LeiF and Pretend but I did that time while (whilst) stone cold sober! I'm off for a pint or two of craft IPA with a buddy and then I will see if I can navigate the track with mucho gusto!:D!

  4. You all knew!
Well, I've taken a cab across town to the UPS Depot to collect and guess what. They don't have the packages. The cab brought me back home.

I rang UPS to check before and was assured that I could collect. I then rang again to check and was told they have them there and ready, no problem. UPS Customer "Service" now, "don't have track" of my packages. They cannot confirm a delivery time, nor can I arrange to collect. I have to start again on Monday, they cannot help further.
    UPS are an absolute shambles.
    Let's think what U.P.of S. might actually stand for!:D
Back to the G29, without much enthusiasm, maybe a stiff drink first.
    Gutted.

  5. Just to confirm, power is on across London... except at UPS.
If you Google UPS you see at least five, blatant lies!:D

Well so much to say. Haven't been much around this week. I think we should all get in a plane to London and sort out those UPS people.. really sorry Totall, we all feel for you. I hope it will be sorted soon.

Also delighted for you Lewisxbone taking over from Tibor the Great.. very kind from you to take on the job for us to continue having fun.

I'll be gone tomorrow for a couple of weeks and I don't think I'll have time to improve that. Gonna miss driving in my front room but it's for the good cause.

Thank you to everyone who posted setup tips. Not much of a fan of gt3 cars as they have too many setup options but I am pretty satisfied with my laptime.

i really wanted to do well this week but only had 2 tries to make it good. 1st try i got stuck at 1.41.9 as i was doing all the wrong settings... Today i just had a 30 mins run and got this result. I find the track really nice and challenging. I think with much more practice i can shave 0.5s off, but this is it for me this week. see you on the next one.

Really good job to 1.38.xxx guys!

    That’s it for WHC#140!

Final standings as above, thanks Lewis. (beat me again!:D)

After a chaotic and late start to the week things picked up fast. Shockingly fast in fact!
But before any analysis of the events, I think we all take our hats off to @F1415182235, for a quite brilliant - 1:38.010 – and look, a console player too!!
To put that time into context, it’s more than half a sec faster than the incredibly fast Pretend racer.
And we can watch it to our hearts’ content! Brilliant. @F1415182235, this week’s clear winner, no quibbles, no ghost times! Many congrats to him.

@Pretend racer, number two this week and very modestly suggesting his time of 1.38.513 would be beaten, was beaten, but as we see, not much in it and beaten only by real excellence! Many congrats!

@LeiF is number three this week. With a strong opening time of 1.38.8, he fixed Lewisxbone in his sights and nearly went and beat Pretend racer (did I mention how difficult that is?) with a great 1.38.558. If Leif tells you he is not getting on with something….beware!

Not on the podium this week, but special mentions for @AB770577, sooo close, no cigar though. Moral victory – a 1.38.5 is a very, very good time for this week’s challenge.

And @Lewisxbone, with a 1.38.776, just a couple of tenths behind! We know he will have been trying very hard to get those tenths, but he’s also had to manage Mrs Lewisxbone’s birthday this week too and I’m delighted he is able to help with the timekeeping – Respect and thank-you!

Whilst we are in the mood, special mentions to @Neilski, who set his time on the mediums, @Mustang 500, who made some very pleasant observations about the excellence of the combi and @Biner, for his very well observed and gracious appreciation of the intro.

In fact, everyone has done really well this week.
    Except UPS.
Thanks for all of your supportive comments. I’m sad I didn’t see Pretend racer’s advice until I had been to the depot and back. Delivery is now slated for tomorrow…. Best to be completely cynical!

    On to WHC#141!:)
