1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    No improvement, but have been trying again this evening. It's easily there if I can land it.
    The car feels truculent at times. The diff on coast feels a bit locked, particularly through and exiting Wurth as you feed in the power. By the exit, after you've straightened and have traction the car still wants to keep turning right, you have to wait and wait before applying full throttle. Same through Rauch, it sometimes fires you towards the apex, requiring a lift off, just when you want to be applying, or it doesn't and you run wide, and have to lift off.
    Rant over. Probably my driving.
    Howvever, there's 6/10ths at least (for me!) if I can just get all eight corners right. Tomorrow.

    I was about to move this machine to the 'most frustrating vehicles in all of Assetto Corsa' list annnnnd she overheard me (mic must not have been muted) and gave me just enough to keep my interest. A lot of help from a setup adjustment...took some camber out of the front and some toe which were both maxed.

    I've been away for the past couple of weeks, but I could at least post this time for this week's challenge. Not really a good time, but made my presence.

    Off-topic:
    I think this may interest you all.

    Rubens Barrichello has a tv show here in Brazil (and YouTube channel). This week they were commemorating the 1st million followers on YT and they were making a special episode with an upgraded Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo and... Barrichello crashed it into the guard rail while attempting a hot lap. The YT link for the video with English subtitles is:



    Fast forward to 8'00" to get to the start of the lap. In the sequence Barrichello makes some comments on the crash.

    Here is a good reason to remain hot lapping in Assetto Corsa only, I don't want to spoil my Lambo... [​IMG]
