Love this car! Anything with an open cockpit in vr is pretty cool but this car is also fun to drive. I last drove this combo back in May and I set a best time of 1.32.308. Normally, I save whatever setup I have modified for each combo but not this time. So I was starting from scratch. I downloaded a few setups and I honestly don;t know which setup I ended up using because I changed my naming system for some unknown reason  Probably cause I did this run at the end of the week instead of the beginning

Anyways, the setup is shown at the end of the video. I do remember I increased both the rear camber and toe a few clicks and I also increased the rear rebound 1 click. As always adjust psi and fuel to suit. In the video my pressures are a little high but that is because I normally set my pb on lap 2 or 3 so they are set to be at the right psi for lap two. Luckily, I managed to set my pb on lap 1 and then promptly screwed up on lap 2 of course!

As if I needed another incentive to keep at it with sim-racing. Need to also step up on the motorcycling end as well!

Getting back on topic @Chaos_Chris wins this week in my book. Big up @Pretend racer for the video. Seems that I'm losing the most time with my lines approaching and getting through turns 2, 3, and 9. I think I'll take those green sections from Imola any day over the red kerbs @Andy-R pointed out. Don't feel all that great missing apexes and hitting those instead! @moodyryder has me hyped up to finally get my bike back from the shop next week with hopefully no strings attached this time around. Last, but not least, two thumbs up for @Totall Wrytoff and @Lewisxbone (one per person) for keeping the WHC train moving along smoothly. And wait, you better know that this is war again @Laughing Gravy !

Speaking of motorcycling...I'm going to Pocono raceway tomorrow running the North course with my kawi 650! It's my second trackday this year/ever. Just installed new pirelli rosso corsa 2's and a fresh oil/filter change. Ready to rip! This pic is from the first one..first time I dragged a knee! Screenshot_20190721-170852_Chrome.jpg

Have been a keen follower of this thread for several months. Sadly due to work/home responsibilities, I am unable to race with the exception of Saturday evening & Sunday morn. I usually get a competitive time after the 6pm GMT flag drop so I never bothered posting. Today I decided if I broke 1:40 I would post just if for no reason other than to lend support to a cool thread.

Hope I have posted properly, if not, constructive criticism is acceptable.

  16. Hi Gamma, delighted to see you, very big welcome to the WHC from all of us!
Your post is perfect and your support is most appreciated.:D
Sounds like the 6pm timing is very awkward for you, I wonder whether I should announce the following week's combi earlier on Sunday/ late Saturday...?

    What does everyone think?

    That’s it for WHC 147!

@Lewisxbone wins! My, my! What a lap! A 1.31.743, delivered on the final day. His first time posted this week was a 1.33.619. That’s not too shabby at all, but he managed to find a further two seconds over the course of the week! Once again, that’s a lesson for all of us that want to get onto the the top step one day, practice practice, practice! Many congrats Lewis and every well done.

2nd place this week is @Pretend racer, with a 1.31.930. Second place once again. Once again thanks for posting set-up and vid, a double treat this week. Once again, really great laps! Congrats on improving your RSR time too! Surely that top spot will be next week, my suspicion is you’re going gently on us…. My personal thanks for your superb consistency - as you may have noticed, it allows a simple cut and paste at the end of each week.

@LeiF takes 3rd place this week 1.32.306, a good 7/10ths improvement to keep him ahead of @ F1415182235 for the third step. Many congrats enjoy the champagne!

Good banter this week, time is a bit short for an in depth summary sadly, but we like to see personal battles springing up. @StyleF1re needling @Laughing Gravy, I was personally affronted by @DriverModFTW ‘s excellent improvement, not sure he can keep that up and finally, it’s @ Bobby Situkangpoles two, @Hugo Catarino , nil!
Big welcome to @gamma500 and thanks for joining.

Well driven everyone and thanks for playing.

Next week, Hugo! – The change for “rewenge.” It’s a home game, with your ball!

6pm UK is 2pm for me (Canada). I would not not suggest you change anything, it is what it is. Carry on, I will catch up and kick your asses!
    Keep up the great work.

Saturday evening sounds like an excellent idea to me! It would give people a bit more overlap, and those who struggle to set times during the week would probably be helped the most by it. I normally manage to have a go during the week myself, but this week turned out a bit... special :-S
