1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Pretty cool! I really enjoy the WHC and I appreciate the effort that goes into organizing it, so I like to show that by participating as much as I can. "Lead by example" and all that crap :rolleyes: :D
    I have to say though the participation numbers have been great and I hope they keep improving!

    Yeah the 98T is an H shifter. Quite a flurry of activity is required to downshift quick enough whilst still rev matching, but much more satisfying to drive a car like this even with a proper gearbox. I often go 5th down to 3rd because it is easier than going via 4th and lets the car settle more before the turn, or the trickier downshift to 2nd...

    The teal life 98T used two different gearboxes.

    Senna used a conventional 5 speed and Johnny Dumfries had the 6 speed sequential as a development mule.

    It broke a lot.

    We have the 6 speed.

    If I try to flat shift I usually end up losing control. I've been treating it as H pattern and coming off throttle to shift.

    I short shift a lot to save the engine. Turning the boost down and going full wallop is probably a better strategy.

    after a day sitting and digging deep into the whc history i need some action! :cool:
    thank you a lot @Pretend racer for the setup - much better than mine, and a lot a lot a lot of changes. :eek:
    but its too twitchy for me. :(
    6s faster but so off the pace :confused:

    - goal is 5.xx.xx and my dream a sub 5.50 - we will see ;)
    so today is lotus fiddling with setup day.... :)

    Hi Tvvang, welcome to the WHC 150 Club! - you need to set the track grip to Optimum when you set the lap up, and you will see the grip level at 100%.:)

    I've just done a 2.01.9 in the C9. I'm just 5/10ths from the Gold lounge, boys. That lap included a very poor entry onto the straight.
    Get my seat ready and prep the barman!:D
