Generic Weekly Hotlap Challenge #150 – W.H.C Number One hundred and fifty

I made the same mistake on my first submission, there has to be 6 OTHER competitors so it would be 7 total entries in the lineup. Not to nitpick..just observing. Shouldn't change your results much to be honest.

I put mediums brcause of it and it still goes 100C°

Of course I had intended six drivers in total and also made the same mistake in my first submission. I'm going again too, @LeiF is only a few tenths away...
@Ivan_11 - as LeiF says, front left does overheat, perhaps wait for the car to rotate further towards the apex (ie; straighten) before getting onto the power to save it some stress.

Took one lap to secure silver. So much easier than C9. Tried a good few times for gold but still about 7 seconds of the pace...

Help!,only two days to go and still no laps.Flipping lack of Vit B12 giving me huge problems.The slightest thing i do i'm beyond exhausted.
I've had the injections,supplements etc and still no luck.I'm still hoping for a burst of energy over the weekend,if it happens you'll be the first to know
I've been enjoying the banter amongst you lot so it's not all lost

@365gt,

I know what you mean, my wife had issues with vitamin b12 a couple years ago. To recover to normal levels of B12 takes a while, because body absorption is very slow. If I can be of any help, I suggest you to supplement with sublingual B12, absorption is quicker. Also, my wife had to change physician several times to find out what was going on and, in the end, a hematologist was the one who resolved.

You said show some style for this one so I have 2 driving styles on show... double declutching and (for the replay only) leaning into the turns like they did in these old race cars I thought I better keep an eye on the guages as well in this old girl! It might not be the most exciting onboard ever but it was fun to drive, plus I kept a theme from last time with the propeller.

The old rivalry re-ignited at the seaside. One car has been sold for just over £52 million, the other's worth about £200k.
A race! All driver aids off, Fanatec shifter, heal and toe and a feather-light throttle foot.
In fact, to get a good lap, closely following the erratic 250GTO without a crash, took all afternoon.

As an authentic Alfista, I couldn't post a different brand. Among various Alfas available on AC, I chose the Alfa 155 V6 Ti for several reasons:
1) When I was a teenager, in 1990s, my dad bought a 155 elegance, it was the 2.0 TS liter engine version instead of the V6, but it was when my passion for Alfas started.
2) The 1990s DTM championships were amazing, I think it was the first motorsport race I watched that was not formula 1. And it felt completely different from F1, with drivers struggling inch by inch, a lot of car contact, it was awesome!
3) Also in those days, as simulators were not very good, and I started racing slot car replicas. And my favorite model was.... the Alfa 155 V6 Ti, which I still own, and as a proof I send a picture below.
4) Last year I visited the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese, near Milan. It's an exceptional museum not only for Alfisti, but for car enthusiasts as well. And, of course, there's a 155 V6 Ti in exhibition. (one more picture in the sequence)

For the Concours d'Elegance, I posted the 155 V6 Ti exiting the last turn of the Nurburgring race track in an attempt to match with a historical race track used by DTM at that time, although I believe the track suffered some changes in the past years, don't know exactly when. I set the time for 8 am trying to get more side light and improved shadows. The 155 is followed by a BMW of the same era.

Hi Rod100,Many thanks for the info,i'll look into the sublingual B12.The GP's here are a nightmare.I had to suggest to him that another blood test would be a good idea to see if the levels were coming up??I'm now waiting for the results,mind boggling it really is.
