1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    How to take part in this Hotlap
    To enter, select Hotlap, choose the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Nurburgring Sprint circuit.

    Please setup the session as shown below
    Mode: Hotlap
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Free
    Stability: Free
    To qualify you must have the ambient temp set to 26 DegC.

    Deadline
    Sunday 1st December 2019 - by 18:00 GMT (1 pm EST).
    Chequered Flag will drop shortly before 6pm.

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like. It is all about taking part, pushing yourself and enjoying Assetto Corsa. All Platforms are welcome.

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used!

    Time for one session. 13 laps then out of fuel. Then I ran it round an out lap to get the screen here.

    I've tried this car before and really not liked it. However, I have had an epiphany. ( ! )

    I've switched to the dashboard/no wheel view. Just feels better all of a sudden. I noticed it on the previous challenge and it makes sense to me on this one too.

    No faster, just feels better.

    So I rather enjoyed this.

    Time to go to work. Back Friday night.

    @moodyryder - because it now looks like the view out of your visor? That's like view when your chest is on the tank:)
    I spend at least 20% of total time fiddling with in car view. I'm a bit obsessed about it. For best results, use the rear and wing mirror reflection. Above, you can see the wing mirror is distorted. I'm slightly off, downwards. I need to rotate the tilt thingy upwards slightly, shift a touch left and back and poss drop the head height. If I shift back, it will be with F.of View.

    Cough! OK, posting a time with the correct combo this time :p :)
    Quite a fun pairing, once you tame the understeer a little. I found I was quicker (and more consistent) with TC=2 than off. Not sure I'll have time for another go this week but I've probably dragged just about everything I can out of this time already so will take a break now and hope for another Neilski, ROFL!
