Speaking on behalf of all of us, the WHC hold you in very, very high esteem! Very high esteem indeed.
We've seen your driving, it is exquisite. Personally, I get goosebumps!
You are way fast, you dominate the charts and as the article from the Lapping Times suggested, there's clearly "a nose or two out of joint."
Nonetheless, on behalf of all of us on this forum, (and lets face it, the WHC is the boss of best lappers,) we really appreciate the delightful talent and skill you have.

I suggest those with noses out of joint, "get practising!"

I'd just like to express this one more time that I am really sad about the distrust of some folk that are also too anxious to get in contact with me and decide to spread word behind my back. I really, really never thought this would happen in this comunity. Especially since I do have rl racing experience and won several championships.
I welcome anyone, once again, come to me for feedback on your driving and tips for AC. I am happy to help.

I hope this doesn't stop you from time attacking and uploading your record laps. I've learned a bit from watching this video.

 

I've always loved the videos which some folks upload. For me, lines and braking points can't be explained, they have to be seen. On many occasions a video has gotten me out of a rut and solved a troublesome turn or two. Sometimes you do the same thing lap after lap and hope for a different result. Insanity someone called it I think.

A video from a seasoned competitor can break you free from that frustration. Keep them coming!

 

That is a shame to hear about RSR, I suspected it was something like that. I think some people get stuck in their little pace bubble and can’t even comprehend how someone can go so much faster in whatever combo. I was battling against the #1 ranked driver at SRS for several races a couple weeks ago but now in the same series I am competing for the championship against some other guy and he is so much quicker, I literally can’t even keep up with him yet virtually nobody else can give me a battle at all, if you asked me three weeks ago I would say I was getting 99% of the pace out the car, today I’ll tell you it is only 90%

As said previously people should complain less and practice more.
The problem is, that practice is very easy to do wrong but tricky to do effectively.
Practice effective practicing or the practice will do effectively nothing!

@gamma500 - congratulations. Much has already been mentioned - I can recommend Assetto Corsa Competizione. Aris' setup videos are fantastic and we will have a lot of fun with the upcoming DLC with Suzuka, Bathurst, Kyalami and Laguna Seca

At the very beginning of my ac career I doubted a time of 2.16 or so in Spa here in the whc. I could not imagine that someone is 10s faster than me ....
later i got to know rsr and saw a cryptic name in the first places, crazy times and many many crazy times.
i thought - cheated he? does he have no rl? wtf?
doubting the times without video proof is just that. there are too many ways to cheat in ac. you showed very clearly, especially with the ruf that you are honest and just a real alien
you deserve all respect for your efforts, to share your knowledge and skills with others. maybe we can make a difference with rsr. the admins are definitely not bad people. There is simply a lack of serious communication, especially on the internet

LOL! This is a lot of fun but I'm very very glad it's on a short track cos it's sooo damn easy to bin it. I have no idea how much is left on the table cos I'm having a hard time being remotely consistent. I do love the sound though! NB: nobody has been talking about setup, so I am as usual clueless and didn't change much; pressures, fuel, a bit more camber and a bit forwards on the brake balance. Oh, and I lengthened the gears a little so I don't need 5th at all (and am less spinny on some exits).

This car is ridiculously narrow and the turning circle is hilariously tight. At one point I lost the rear end (no, honestly) and I discovered while getting it to point in the right direction that you can drive it in circles after T1 without even using the whole track

 

@GoodGame.eXistenZ The whole thing stinks.It's obvious your're not faking it.The whole point of sim racing is to learn from those who are quicker, to improve,have fun and chat.This is why the WHC is still going.We are all legit here and we learn from others..Yes there's frustration at times but that's because we care about what we are doing.Your Ruf video was inspiring to a lot of us and I for one would have probably not improved as i did.
I hope those at rsr redeem themselves somehow.

It looked like an entirely legit (and very quick!) lap to me and I suspect the fact that I improved about half a second after watching it was not a coincidence

So much to do, but it's a labour of love. It's coming along. So many settings compared to what I'm used to and downloads/updates. Once it's done it will be steady racing!

Using H-shifter, all assits off, no tuning (only tires 33 psi).Am I missing something? Do you guys tune or use assits?
