1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Pity this just misses the update, had to burn past part timer @Emmanuel Tubbiolo!:)
Next jump is a big one....
Reasons to be cheerful: This time is 1.6% slower than the fastest, which doesn't sound like much at all!:D

Due to limited adjustability of this vehicles tune, my improvement was definitely a result of better technique. However, I'd be dishonest if I didn't mention that I did in fact use your tune as well. A few days ago I did do a very fast and not very scientific or accurate sweep of tire pressure and camber adjustments and I found max camber did work best for me. I did not fiddle as much with toe to get it dialed in so I used your toe adjustments. @Pretend racer

    Sammy Hagar: "I can't drive 55"
    Gamma500: "I can't drive front wheel drive"

An automotive commercial years ago had a guy with a fake German accent saying "It's better to pull a car then push it" (most likely VW)
Bulls***! I have physically tried both. When a car is stuck in snow people don't pull it from the front bumper, they get behind it and push!

    See Yah'll next week!

I really p*ss myself off when I screw anything up in life, just in general. So this stupid blur happened again while taking this picture. I dont think it's as bad as last time. Regardless, I just cant stand it. I guess I get so excited about laying down a good lap that I just cant hold my attention long enough to wait for the phone to do its thing. I literally just get right back into lapping so I can chase my ghost again and then I never check the photo until it's too late cause I've already restarted the session. I am sorry, again. At least all the vital information is legible this time, air is 26 celcius and it was in hot lap.

I run AC via Steam (and presumably you do as well?), so I just hit F12 to take a screenshot. I think that's the default setting for Steam so it ought to work for you too...
The screenshots end up in an awkward location, but Steam will find it for you if you ask it nicely (e.g. select the game in the library and look for the screenshots, or it might even offer you the uploader after each session if you haven't changed the default behaviour).

If you use Steam look at the top left of the screen. You should see Steam View Friends Games Help
Click on View then go to Screenshots. It will bring up the screenshot uploader which should have your last sessions pics ready to be uploaded. Select the ones you want, upload them. Then click on View online library. All your screenshots should pop up. If you want to upload them to the forum click on the pic once to select it, then click again until its magnified. Right click on your mouse and select copy link address. Then in the ac forum select insert image and paste into the url.

Or if in W10 just press windows key + print screen and it saves it in an easier to find location (Pictures\Screenshots\Assetto Corsa)
Yeah fwd is just so wrong, I can’t really ever enjoy it and go fast, rwd is fun, fwd just frustrating.

You can also just screen grab and paste direct into the forum text box, don’t bother uploading anything, no need. Win+shift+S and just draw a box around what you want to copy to clipboard, then ctrl v to paste it here. I often just paste it straight into a post and don’t ever save a screen shot.

Yeah, that's also useful but for me it saves everything as PNGs so consumes way more space than the JPGs I get from Steam. Is there a way to make Windows compress those screenshots I wonder?
Oooo, I've never thought to try that in a DirectX game - does it work? I must give it a go ;)
(Though it doesn't fit so well when you're in "record that meh hotlap and get straight back on track to set a better one!!:eek:" mode :D)

Thank you guys for the PC solutions. I built this pc exclusively for gaming, however I was away from pc usage for about a decade so to say you lose what you dont use is an understatement for me. I appreciate the helpful knowledge and will utilize a more appropriate way of going about posting my times!

I missed this bit at first ;)
I have always enjoyed driving FWD cars, so I'd better get the finger out and try and set a time here!
Most of the cars I've driven hard IRL have been FWD, and there's no doubt in my mind that it's safer to explore the limits of FWD than RWD - the "oops I overdid it" behaviour is a lot more benign. (The first time I lost the rear end in a RWD car IRL - as a novice driver - very nearly put me into a ditch.)

Managed to start before 5pm today, yay! :D
Wow, this car eats its tyres pretty quickly, and omfg 42 psi(!?) - that's surreal. Not many revs to be had but a hell of a lot of torque, especially relative to the available grip, so 3rd gear actually works OK on a few corners despite it not using all the power. I don't have much more time today and am not feeling at all confident that I'll make it into the 51s, if I manage to improve at all.
    Nice combo!
